In Battlefield 2042, you will be able to take control of a tank, but you will need to deploy it on the map. We tell you how.
Battlefield 2042 will be available in open beta starting this Friday, October 8 before officially releasing on Friday, November 19 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
As in the previous games, you will be able to take control of different vehicles including one of the most popular, the tank that will be available in your HQ when you reappear in the game.
What do you need to do to have a tank in Battlefield 2042?
If you want to take control of a tank within the game, like most vehicles you will have to go through the HQ . The Headquarters, is only accessible when you reappear on the map . To safely get a tank, do the following:
- on the respawn menu, click on HQ
- go to the vehicle icon that appears under the Headquarters icon
- select the tank
There you go, normally, you will appear in the game controlling a tank . It should be noted that it is possible that all the tanks are already deployed in the field, so you will have to be patient if you want to take control of this device. It is also to deploy one during the game, by pressing the following keys :
- right click + left click on PC
- L2 + R2 on PlayStation consoles
- LT + RT on Xbox consoles
It could also happen that you are lucky and a tank has been abandoned by a player , if so, approach it and press the following key to take control :
- E on PC
- Round on PlayStation consoles
- X on Xbox consoles
