New World is flooded with fishing bots - players have already learned how to exterminate them

While the developers are fixing the technical problems of the game, some gamers have decided to fight bots on their own using methods familiar to MMORPG veterans. Players attack mobs and then run up to the bot. After that, the mobs switch their attack from the original target to the fisherman. 

On October 5th, players complained of being blocked for "Disruptive Behavior". Amazon Games did not comment on the bans.

New World was released on September 28 and became the most successful release of 2021 on Steam. About 800 thousand users play the game daily on Steam.
