Here's how to make the most of your photography in The Good Life with Hotwords.
An integral part of your job of unraveling the Rainy Woods mystery in The Good Life should be taking photos of many different things. This will be your main bread and butter in the game, besides making money from other side quests, etc. Your main source of income will be uploading photos to the Flamingo app.
So how exactly will you make the most money with Flamingo? Of course, hot words! If you're not sure what it is, we'll go over everything you need to know right here.
What are hot words?
Hot words are certain hashtag phrases that are trending. Hot words are reset every Monday and Thursday at midnight , and you must access Flamingo after changing them to view them in photo mode. You can bring up the list anytime you are in photo mode with a single press of a button, until the next reset when you need to check the app again.
In photo mode, tags will be displayed in green to show you what you are photographing. If something falls into the Hotword category, a red exclamation mark will appear to notify you of the opportunity to get a great photo. You can call up the Hotword list to see exactly which goal has been achieved.
Photos containing Hotwords will get more emotions (likes) and bring you more money, so you need to be sure that you will always be up to date with the latest developments. The more words there are in the photo, the better the fans will perceive it on Flamingo. Try to photograph from a specific angle to cover more than one keyword and get a great score. Sometimes you need to take a step or two back to get it all at once.
Make sure you upload your photos while the hot words are still active to match the current trend as much as possible. You will know when you are successful as your photos will receive a "Buzz". banner after loading.
When updating Hotwords, if one of your previously uploaded photos already contains one of the popular phrases, it will start buzzing again.
How to update the Flamingo app
Accessible via PC at Naomi's home , Flamingo is where you can upload all of your photos to earn likes and money. You can only upload each photo once, and there is a limit on the number of photos you can upload at one time, as well as a limit on the maximum number of photos you can upload .
As you upload more photos and get more emotion, you naturally earn more followers as well. As you reach certain milestones, Flamingo will reward you with extra cash and increase your maximum downloads. Make sure you take the best possible photos to get as many likes and followers as possible so you can update your account sooner.
ADVICE. If you run out of upload space, delete the photos with the least amount of emotion and try to replace them with the best ones - ideally photos with a few hot words.
