Holes and Rupees: Tips and Tricks to Win

Obviously, the difficulty of Holes and Rupees is that no bomb explodes in the holes, something quite complex. Of course, part of chance and luck comes into play when you participate in this minigame, since it is impossible to know where there will be a bomb or where a rupee.

However, there are a few tricks that you should keep in mind to make dodging the bombs much more likely , because depending on the rupee you get from a hole you can advance by calculating your steps:

  • If you take a green rupee out of a hole: you can dig in all the holes around it because none of them will have a bomb.
  • If you draw a blue rupee from a hole: there will be 1 or 2 holes around it that will contain a bomb or a rot.
  • If you draw a red rupee from a hole: there will be 3 or 4 holes around it that will contain a bomb or a rot.
  • If you take a silver rupee out of a hole: there will be 5 or 6 holes around it that will contain a bomb or a rot.
  • If you draw a golden rupee from a hole: there will be 7 or 8 holes around it that will contain a bomb or a rot.

As you can see, thanks to this little trick you can better intuit which holes are bombs or rot , which will give you a better chance of winning a good amount of rupees before the game is over or even if you have the luck of your life. Don't let a single bomb explode until you clean the holes with rupees.

Oh, and while we are here, we tell you another curiosity. In the cave of Holes and Rupees you can shoot with the Slingshot at some diamond crystals that are on the walls so that they drop rupees. Be careful because some also release rot that you are not interested in picking up.
