Final Fantasy 7 remake guide - all wedding dresses

Where to find all wedding dresses for Tifa, Aeris and Cloud

Final Fantasy 7 Remake has 9 different wedding outfits - three each for Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith. Collecting all 9 outfits will earn you the Dressed to the Nines achievement. You will not be able to get all the dresses in one playthrough of each chapter, as they are interchangeable and their receipt depends on certain conditions and choices made in specific episodes. Tifa's dresses can be obtained in the third, Aeris - in the eighth, Cloud - in the ninth chapters. Below we will tell you how to get each wedding dress of Tifa, Aeris and Cloud, as well as give practical recommendations that will allow you to collect all the wedding dresses as soon as possible.

These outfits can only be equipped at the end of Chapter 9. This will happen automatically, according to the plot of the game, when Tifa, Aeris and Cloud are introduced to Don Corneo as potential brides. In order for the outfits to be counted as found, you will have to go through the ninth chapter each time. That is, if you receive a new dress for Tifa in the third chapter, it will not be counted as collected for achievement until you complete Chapter 9 as part of this walkthrough, having collected all three dresses for different heroes. That is, in one playthrough from the third to the ninth chapters, you can collect only one wedding dress for each hero.

After completing the story, you will unlock the chapter selection, which will instantly launch the third episode and go through the segment until the end of the ninth, collecting the necessary dresses. By replaying the chapter, you update your choices, which are taken into account for all subsequent episodes (it is important to end the chapter, this is the only way to save the decisions made).

Wedding Dresses for Tifa (Chapter 3)

Choosing Tifa's wedding outfit depends on what you ask her to wear at the end of the third chapter, provided that you have completed all the side quests. A purple marker will appear in the bedroom. Head there and choose from three options: Sporty, Exotic, and Adult. This will determine the outfit in which she comes out at the end of the ninth chapter. Completely ignoring this event will result in the unlocking of the adult wedding outfit.

  • Tifa's wedding dress 1. In the third chapter, complete all side quests, after which an additional event will appear, which will be marked with a purple marker. Choose an option with an adult dress. Alternatively, you can only complete 1 side quest (no matter which one) to advance the story, and completely ignore this event. The girl will wear an adult dress by default, and you do not have to waste a lot of time. This will be a blue (light blue) dress.
  • Tifa's Wedding Dress 2. In the third chapter, complete all of the side quests, and then follow the purple marker and ask Tifa to wear a sports dress - a black dress with a leopard pattern.
  • Tifa's wedding dress 3. In the third chapter, complete all the side quests, go through the purple marker and ask Tifa to wear an exotic dress - a black Japanese dress with a red bow.

Wedding Outfits for Aerith (Chapter 8)

Getting one or another of Aeris's dress depends on how many side quests you complete in the eighth chapter. After completing all six side quests in the eighth chapter, you will receive a beautiful red dress. If you complete half of the tasks or more, but not all, you will receive a pink dress. Finally, if you do not complete a single task, she will say that you will pay for this decision later, hinting that in the ninth chapter she will wear the simplest dress.

  • Aeris's Wedding Dress 1. In the eighth chapter, complete 6 of 6 side quests - a long red dress.
  • Aeris's wedding dress 2. In the eighth chapter, complete 3 of 6 side quests - pink dress.
  • Aerith's Wedding Dress 3. In Chapter 8, complete 0 of the 6 side quests — a simple pink dress.

Wedding Attire for Cloud (Chapter 9)

Wedding dresses for Cloud (don't be alarmed, he's just disguised as a bride) are chosen depending on which side quests you complete in the ninth chapter. Or skip them all. The decisions you make in Chapter 9 will affect which side quests Cloud and his team will have access to. These tasks are interchangeable. This means that in one playthrough you can get a bunch of side quests "The Party Never Ends" and "Explosive Body" or "The Cost of Theft" and "Counterattack with Scissors." The third assignment, Burning Hips, will stop irreplaceable. You need to complete it to get two of the three outfits.

  • Cloud's Wedding Dress 1. In Chapter 9, complete the Party Never Ends, Explosive Body, Burning Hips side-quests to obtain a dark blue wedding dress.
  • Cloud's Wedding Dress 2. In Chapter 9, complete the Cost of Theft, Scissor Counterattack, and Burning Hips side-quests to obtain a white wedding dress.
  • Cloud's Wedding Dress 3. Skip any side quests in Chapter 9 to get a simple black wedding dress.

How to Quickly Collect All Wedding Outfits in FF7

Since you can only get 1 wedding dress for each character in one playthrough, you will have to go through some chapters several times. Upon completion of the storyline, you will unlock the Chapter Select item. Now you can start the third chapter, choose the dress you want for Tifa, end this chapter, return to the menu (make sure to finish the chapter exactly) and select the eighth chapter. In the eighth chapter, complete the necessary tasks to get a specific wedding outfit for Aerith, completely complete this chapter and go to the ninth to get a dress for Cloud. That is, you do not need to go through chapters 4, 5, 6 and 7! The selections will automatically update for all subsequent chapters as soon as you complete the third.

First playthrough

  • In the third chapter, complete all the side quests and choose Tifa's sporty wedding dress.
  • In the eighth chapter, complete all the side quests to get the first dress for Aeris.
  • In the ninth chapter, complete the branch of side quests with the quests "The Party Never Ends", "Explosive Body", "Burning Hips".

Second playthrough

  • In the third chapter, complete one of the side quests to advance the story, ignore the rest, and you will automatically receive a green wedding dress.
  • In the eighth chapter, do not complete the side quests, but move on to get another dress for Aeris.
  • In the ninth chapter, don't complete the side quests, but move on to get another dress for Cloud.

Third playthrough

  • In the third chapter, complete all the side quests to get an exotic dress for Tifa.
  • In the eighth chapter, complete three side quests (any) to get another dress for Aeris.
  • In Chapter 9, complete the Cost of Theft, Scissor Counterattack, and Burning Hips side-quest chain to get another dress for Cloud.
This is everything you need to know about wedding outfits in Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
