CROSSPLAY ELDEN RING, CAN WE PLAY WITH PLAYERS ON OTHER PLATFORMS?

 The release of Elden Ring is coming soon, and multiplayer will indeed be present in the game. But what about the possibility of playing in crossplay?

This Friday, February 25, Elden Ring will finally be available to all players! The game comes out at midnight in France on all platforms (PC, PlayStation, and Xbox), so it will finally be possible to discover this brand new universe, taking place in a fantasy world.

As expected, the game will be multiplayer, which means it will be possible to play it with friends or against players. But what about crossplay? Can we play with other platforms? The answer is no, we detail everything below!

Is crossplay available in Elden Ring?

Crossplay is not part of the features available in Elden Ring, or at least not completely! Indeed, not all platforms will be able to play with each other. However, PS4 and PS5 players will have the ability to play with each other, as will Xbox One and Xbox Series players. PC players, on the other hand, will only be able to play between PC players!

Crossplay is therefore not a possibility in Elden Ring, except between different console generations. If you want to play with your friends, we recommend that you buy the game on the same platform as them! Without it, you won't be able to play with them.
