DISCORD ON PLAYSTATION, HOW TO CONNECT TO PS4 AND PS5?

If you use Discord, you know that it is possible to connect the software to different platforms to indicate your status to your friends: Spotify, Twitch, Blizzard, or Xbox! Among all the connection possibilities, one was missing and in great demand by users: the PlayStation! 

Indeed, until now, it was not possible to link your Discord account to your PlayStation account. This is now a thing of the past since it is finally possible to link the two! We explain how to do it.

How to connect your PlayStation account to Discord?

Discord has just made an announcement: it will finally be possible to link your PlayStation and Discord accounts! This new possibility will not allow you to use Discord on the console, but simply to display your PlayStation activity to all your friends. To do this, just follow the steps below:

• Connect to Discord on one of the platforms where the software is available
• Go to "User Settings"
• Then choose “Connections”
• In the list of accounts offered, click on “PlayStation Network”

Then enter the information requested by the pop-up that opened. This way, your PlayStation account will be linked to Discord and will be able to show your activity !

Also, don't forget to check 'Show on my profile' and 'Show PlayStation Network as status' if you want, in Discord's 'Connections' page. Without it, your status will not be displayed!
