Techland has confirmed that PlayStation, Xbox, and PC gamers will be able to download Dying Light 2 in advance. We show you the dates and times here.
After several years of waiting, some survival-horror fans are eager to embark on the Dying Light 2 adventure. Techland, the developer, and publisher, has thus confirmed the possibility of downloading the game in advance for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC players.
Xbox (One and Series X/S), PlayStation (PS4/PS5) and PC players can already pre-download Dying Light 2 to be able to play it as soon as it is released. However, Nintendo Switch players do not have the option to download the game in advance.
How to pre-download Dying Light 2 on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC?
It is now possible to pre-download Dying Light 2 on PlayStation (PS4/PS5), Xbox (One and Series X/S) as well as on PC. However, this is not possible on Nintendo Switch. Console players will then have to wait until midnight, local time, on the night of Thursday, February 3 to Friday, February 4 to be able to play Dying Light 2. For PC players, the game's release time is set at 4 pm PST

Pre-downloading is of course only open to players who have pre-ordered Dying Light 2. Once the game has been acquired, the download option appears in the platform's library (PlayStation, Xbox, or PC).
