There are many collectibles in Lost Ark . Really many. There are over 1,200 of the Mokoko seeds alone in the game waiting to be found, but alongside them, there are hidden stories, dishes, and more. The interactive map of Papunika will help you find them all.
What is this card? Similar to New World, there is also an interactive map of the world on the Internet for the new MMORPG Lost Ark. There are several of these, but we would like to introduce you to just one in more detail here.
This is the interactive Lost Ark map by the fansite Papunika.com. She can help you find all the Mokoko seeds and not miss any of the secret stories. You can reach them via the website papunika.com/map.
You can also find possible locations of wandering merchants as well as bosses and other things that you need to fill the adventure tome on this map.
Overall, the map shows the following things from the world of Lost Ark:
- All islands, ghost ships, navigation missions and merchant ships
- All mococo seeds
- Collectible food items
- Special monsters and bosses
- Hidden Stories
- Wandering traders
- The Adventure Tome of the Continents
- Secret passages
- Maps of dungeons and tips about them
- Items that start quests
- All NPCs you can improve your relationship with and how to do it
- All useful NPCs
However, the map is quite full at first glance and can quickly become overwhelming. In addition, unfortunately, it was not translated into German and is therefore only available in English. But that doesn't make them any less useful for many things.
How do you set them up correctly? At the start, the map simply shows you everything. This can quickly become overwhelming, especially since you don't need that much information right at the beginning of the game.
On the right edge of the browser window, you will find a list of everything that is available on the currently selected instance. Here you can easily click on the things you don't want to see at the moment.
At the beginning of Lost Ark, we, therefore, recommend that you first hide all islands. This immediately makes the map more inviting and less cluttered. You only need the islands from level 30 or higher anyway.
|
Without the islands, the map doesn't look as cluttered |
If you are looking for a certain area, you can also go there directly in the top left using the search function. Note here, however, that you have to search for the English name and that you can only search for areas, not directly for NPCs.
Find Mokoko seeds and collectibles more easily
How do you like the seeds? The map of Papunika has all the Mokoko Seeds you can find in Arkesia listed. All you have to do is display them on the map of the map you are currently on.
If you need more detailed help on how to get one of the rare seeds, you can simply click on it and you will usually get help. For example, if you click on the seed behind the barrier on Mount Zagoras, it says that you must first destroy the barrier.
The card also points out certain challenges to you at the beginning of an instance. In the Blackrose Chapel dungeon, for example, the room to the Mokokos only opens if we haven't killed any civilians in your run.
So that you don't notice it too late, such information is always marked with a star on the map, which you then have to click on.
|
The star above tells us to click on the locations to collect all the seeds. Clicking on the symbol gives us more information |
The map is also extremely helpful when it comes to cooking items. You should always click on the items that you need to collect since you often have to process them further. The card gives you valuable hints, such as that you have to leave a certain item in your inventory for 10 minutes before you can use it.

A click on the ingredient tells us what to do with it |
Learn more about the history of Lost Ark
What does the story have to do with the map? The Lost Ark map will also help you find the important collectibles for the adventure tome. In addition to the bosses and cooking ingredients that you need, there are also exciting hidden stories.
These are small collectible items that you can find in the world. If you interact with them, you can read a short text and learn more about the world of Lost Ark. These hidden stories vary in length and are shown in green on the Papunika map.
The card also shows you directly how many pieces such a hidden story has in total. If you only see the story name in green, you simply have to interact with it and you have completed the story.
If there is a number after the name, such as 1 / 4, it means that you have to find a total of four of these stories in order to complete it.
|
If we click on the story, we see the locations of all the missing parts |
How do you find her with the map? If you find such a split story but don't know where the other parts are hiding, the map will help you out. Just click the green exclamation mark on the hidden story and you'll be shown the locations of the other related parts.
I often look more at the Papunika map than at the game
The map can do a lot, but is that good? The map of Papunika can do a lot and offers numerous possibilities to find exactly what I really want. But that also means there are risks for me as a player.
I use the map permanently on the second monitor and look at it more often than the in-game map. I rarely have to really look for Mokoko seeds because thanks to the map I always know where they are and how to get to them.
But this also has the big disadvantage that the real exploration of the world is lost. I would probably never have found numerous hidden entrances without the map, but I would have looked at other parts of the game more closely.
Or generally visited places where there is no collector's item. Because in the frenzy of completion, it often happened to me that I completely ignored parts of the world because, thanks to Papunika, I knew that there was nothing there anyway. And that's pretty unfortunate.
I, therefore, recommend a good balance in handling the card and maybe only using it when you really get stuck. But if you just want to have everything and go through the maps as quickly as possible, the map could become your best friend.
Are there alternatives? Yes, the
Lost Ark Database website also offers an interactive map. It even shows you a little bit more than the map of Papunika, such as places that hide treasures as well as places where you can play different songs.
However, we personally find the map of Papunika more pleasant to use because it is clearer and offers more setting options.
What do you think of such interactive maps and will you use them often or not? Do you prefer to explore the world of Lost Ark on your own without assistance, or is there just too much to discover? Write it to us in the comments.
