Lost Ark, how to better display the content of the game? The must-know visual trick

What is the point of 21:9 compared to 16:9 on Lost Ark? Let's say it's all about perspective. We offer you a small comparison between the two display formats and explain the major interest of the first below.

Lost Ark has been out for more than 15 days now, and despite the complicated situation on the server-side, you may have finally reached level 50 and are currently doing your best to farm Fragments of Harmony. . However, the difficult content of the game, such as the Abyssal Dungeons, will force you to give your best. What if we told you that there was a trick to make the game easier?

THE 21:9, THE ULTIMATE TRICK TO FACILITATE LOST ARK

Why go to 21:9?

Already, it is necessary to make the difference between the 16:9 and the 21:9!

THE 21:9, THE ULTIMATE TRICK TO FACILITATE LOST ARK

The 21:9 is commonly referred to as the Ultrawide. You will notice that this one grows out a bit more on the sides. This format is really ideal but one of its main concerns is that not all games are necessarily compatible with it. This forces modders to find ways to make a game compatible...or quite simply, you just have to play with black stripes.

But back to Lost Ark., You should know that players, without even being equipped with Ultrawide screens, still play by forcing this format. You will soon understand why :

Here are two images captured at the same location. The first being in 16:9 (the format you are probably playing), the other being in 21:9 (on a 16:9 screen). You will notice that on the 2nd capture, the image is a little zoomed out, but that this allows you to see a lot more ground...

And where things get interesting is that it's simply an advantage in PvP. Indeed, you will have more vision, especially for your ranged attacks, but also to see from further away what the mages/distances are doing.

But it's also great in high-level dungeons, as it allows you to get a better view of enemy attacks, even if they're quite far away from you.

Of course, the main "defect" of this method, if you play with a 16:9 screen, is that you will have 2 beautiful black bands. But it can be worth it if you want to make your life a little easier.

How do I enable forced 21:9 mode?

It could not be easier. Press Esc, then Settings Once in the options, go to Video, and under your resolution, you will find a checkbox: Force aspect ratio 21:9. Check it to switch to 21:9 mode

The joys of black bands are yours at the cost of a better overall vision!
