To whom to give the TV tower in Dying Light 2 Stay Human: the consequences of decisions

When passing Dying Light 2 Stay Human, the player needs to make decisions that in one way or another affect further events. In the quest "Broadcasting" you have to make a choice that can turn the plot abruptly. In this guide, we will tell you who to give the TV tower to and what consequences you will face if you choose Jack Matt, Juan, or Frank.

In the previous chapters, you had to choose a path: help Jack Matt with his plan to use the TV tower in the interests of the Peacekeepers, or Juan with tailing Jack. You will have to choose between them. Things get complicated when Frank appears on the list, and the choice becomes not so obvious, and its consequences are very serious.

Who will give the TV tower in Dying Light 2: Jack Matt, Juan, or Frank?

"Broadcasting" is one of the major quests of the main plot of Dying Light 2, at the end of which you have to make an important decision: to whom to transfer control of the TV tower. In general, you will have to choose between peacekeepers and survivors, which will affect the plot over time and towards the end of the game. The following text may contain spoilers for the endings of Dying Light 2.

It is worth noting that Juan will only appear among the options if you agreed to cooperate with him in the Welcome Aboard quest. In short, if you side with Juan, you will be able to transfer control of the TV tower to Juan or Frank, however, if you previously decided to help Jack, then you will be able to transfer control to either him or Frank, not Juan.

After a long preparation, you will start climbing the TV tower, which you entered together with a detachment of peacekeepers. As a result, Aiden will have to climb the tower and look for the transmitter on his own. Along the way, you will receive advice from Frank on how to get to the top of the tower.

When you are almost at the goal and start thinking about who to give the TV tower to, Frank will contact you by radio. He will try to convince you to give control to him, as he wants to organize a radio station for the survivors. Thus, your previous agreement with Jack or Juan will be in jeopardy. Now it's time to decide who should get the TV tower: Jack Matt, Juan or Frank.

Give TV Tower to Jack Matt in Dying Light 2: Aftermath

Jack will only be selectable if you previously chose to help him during the conversation with Juan in the Welcome Aboard quest. If you give the transmitter to Jack, then the peacekeepers will immediately take over the radio station, and their propaganda will spread throughout the city. Later, you will have to help Jack boost the signal by activating additional antennas. Ultimately, it will lead to the fact that you will find a key character for further development of the plot. Toward the end of the game, when bombs are about to fall on the city, the peacekeepers will not use the TV tower to warn the population of an approaching threat. This will lead to the death of a large number of people.

Give TV Tower to Juan in Dying Light 2: Consequences

This choice is only available if you previously agreed to help Juan spy on Jack Matt during the Welcome Aboard quest. Next, you will meet with a former scientist named Kurt, who will give you a tracking bug during the Cathedral quest.

If you give the transmitter to Juan, you will essentially give the TV tower to the peacekeepers and Jack Matt, but with Juan's bug. As in the case of Jack, after the transfer of the TV tower to Juan, none of the peacekeepers will warn the residents about the missile attack, and people will die. However, if after handing over the tower to Juan you decide to save the city, it will end up in the hands of renegades.

Give the TV Tower to Frank in Dying Light 2: Consequences

You can give control to Frank, regardless of the decisions in the previous quests. If you listen to Frank and hand over the TV tower to him, then he will be able to create a radio for survivors - "New Hope Radio". After that, you will have the task of amplifying the signal using additional antennas. Later, Frank uses the radio he created to warn the survivors of an impending missile strike so they can evacuate with minimal casualties.

If at the end of the game you save the city, then it will go to the survivors.
