Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok - Wangrinn's Fortune, Secrets and Artifacts

All treasures, equipment, armor, weapons, armor, and other activities in the region

In this guide, we talk about all the secrets, artifacts, and chests with platinum bars and equipment hidden in the Vangrinn region. Please note that some items in this guide are not described for the reason that we talked about them in the main walkthrough of the game.

Note. Some treasures and so on are described either in the main walkthrough of the game or in the side quest guide. This usually refers to resources hidden in the places you visit during the game's story.

Travel far west to a new region, Vangrinn. Activate the sync point along the way if you haven't already. Nearby there will be a flock of Suttung Bloodhounds. These are jotuns disguised as a wolf. Kill everyone and finish off their leader Yasen. Defeating the Seeker of Suttunga will reward you with the Legendary Jotun Pants.

If you go exactly south to the blue dot, you can save the dverg in trouble. In addition to etuns and turses, there will be three snakes below. To the west of here is a white dot with a curse. In the end, you will have to use the Force of Jotunheim to pull yourself to a target on top of an icy mountain. Further west there are two blue dots. One of them points to a side quest, and the other to an altar that requires two lynx legs. The lynxes themselves live nearby. For a donation, you will receive 1 skill point. There is a sketch of a tattoo in Dolgar-mulne. Finding it is easy.

South of the dweerg hideout in the Vangrinn area, a white helmet marker can be found. This is another Hand of Sinmara, Travell. For victory, you will receive Bracers of the Dverga blacksmith. You can go east and activate the second synchronization point. Near this point is Heidmar's Grotto. To get inside, look to the right of the steps, without climbing them, for an ice crust. Break the ice and jump down into the cave. Move deeper, break another ice and find yourself at a chest with equipment. Use the power of Jotunheim to teleport to the target on the right. There is a sketch of a tattoo in this room. Return and teleport in the same way to the room on the left. Go right, break the ice wall, teleport up to the target and pick up the key. Return to the chest, open it and take the armor of the dwarven blacksmith. To the south of the grotto, you can save a dverg in trouble.

Head south to Eltrop. You will open the building according to the plot of the game. In the same building, break the floor and go downstairs to find a stash with a puzzle. Jump through the open window to the light source and aim it at the door on the left. Remove the reflector from there. Now point the light source at the door in another part of the hall (through the center). Go to the other side, go through the door and direct the second light source on the doors in this corridor. Behind one of them, you will find a sphere. Place it on the stand in the center, then aim the second light at the door on the other side, in the previous hallway. Now there are no obstacles between the reflector in the center and the one you dragged from the room. Go back to the first light source and aim it at the reflector you pulled out of the room. The light must hit the center. Use the central reflector to open the door, behind which will be the Fury Ax Skill Book. If this is the second such book, you will receive an upgrade: the finishing blow knocks the enemy back and strikes with chain lightning. Also, kill the enemy from above to get a platinum ingot.

West of Eltrop, look for two more markers. There will be a camp of jotuns. After killing everyone, take the gem and the platinum ingot from the chest. If there is no Raven Power, find it nearby and shoot it to fly into the nest near the camp and take the key. It is needed to open the platinum chest. Take your time and activate the third sync point at this location. Go west to Gimsteinhus where you can see one golden dot. Look around. Pick up the Power of Jotunheim and find the hanging sign on the tree. Pull towards him using this power. Then, while on the branch, look through the lattice window on the top floor of the building. Behind him is another target. Reach out to her. Break the ice floor, jump down and break the ice wall. Get the legendary dagger "Cut of Fenrir" from the chest.

From Hodda's hideout, head west to the white and blue dots. There will be another mythical memory here, and don't forget to pick up a tattoo on the side. To the southwest of the third sync point (second from bottom to top) there are two blue markers at once. The nearest marker is a dverg in trouble. Kill the enemies and talk to him. The farthest point is the altar. You need to sacrifice the 5 claws of the wolf. Basically, you should have killed enough wolves by now. get 1 skill point as a reward.

In the southeast of the area, in the very corner, there is another Suttunga Bloodhound. Kill Vessalig to get the etun's cloak.

To the southwest of Efursmids is a white dot. Follow there, kill the jotuns and pick up the gem. It is located at the top of the stone pillar, in a small niche. Hang on it and pick up the item.

To the northeast of the lowest sync point is the settlement of Khvithus. A gem and a Book of Skills are hidden here. To begin, climb onto the roof where the source is, and point it down at the sphere. Shoot the orb with blades to aim it at the first door. Behind it, you will find a chest with simple loot and a tattoo. Then pick up the power of Jotunheim (arrow), climb onto the pole opposite the building with the Book of Skills and activate the power. Teleport through the barred window to the top floor. Break the bolt on the door, grab the sphere and run down. Find in front of this building, in the lava, a place for a sphere. Set it up (use Muspelheim's Force to keep it from burning) and then shoot the blades of the adjacent orb. When the light falls on the new aim it at the door of another building and on the first floor look for a Book of Skills with the ranged skill "Split Shot". If it's already the second book, you'll get an upgrade: Enemies hit will be knocked back and their attacks interrupted.
