Check for Steam Updates
- Click on Steam (top left of the app)
- Click Check for Steam Client Updates
- Download and install the update if there is one
Enable participation in betas
- Go to Steam (top left)
- Click on Settings
- Go to the Account tab
- Click Edit under Beta Testing Programs
- Choose Steam Beta Update and validate
