Elex 2 A well-kept secret: find all map pieces

 In Elex 2, you might accidentally come across a map piece during one of your explorations. Once you make Bastion your new home location, you'll see the benefits. You need to find a total of 16 map pieces and put them together to get a reward. In this guide, we tell you the localities of all 16 map pieces.

All map pieces

Before you set out to eagerly find all the map pieces, you should first prepare yourself. In order to find all the map pieces, you have to graze all of Magalan and will occasionally come across dangerous enemies. If you're clever, you can dodge these types of enemies, but you'll need a jetpack with maximum fuel capacity. When tracking down the map pieces, you not only need to be able to reach high areas but also be able to reach the top of a skyscraper.

The locations of the first five map parts.

1. The first map piece is in the very southwest of the game world, in the middle of a long steel bridge.
2. In the berserker fort, you have to break into the house of a nameless berserker and steal the map from the dining table.
3. The next piece of the map can be found northwest of the picture. You can find it in a small room under a huge satellite dish.
4. This area is guarded by a heavy mech. But you don't have to deal with him at all, you can simply head for the roof of the building and take the map piece in peace.
5. In the picture to the far east and south of the "World Heart West Carakis" teleporter, you will find the next map piece on top of a multi-piece tower.

6. There is a tower south of the Baastion teleporter. Go all the way up and grab the map piece impaled on a board with a sword.

7. In a foreclosed building west of the Tomsontown North teleporter.

8. North of the "Tomsontown North" teleporter on a hill by a picnic area.

9. Not in, but above the Morkon Grotto in the middle of the destroyed city is a very tall building, the top of which you have to reach. Even with maximum fuel capacity, you cannot easily reach the roof. So better start on the roof of a nearby house.

10. On the top floor of the damaged tower of Cleric's Castle you will find the next map piece.

In the snowy north you will find the next map pieces.

11. North of the outlaw crater you will find a mine near the mountains, next to which there is a mine entrance. Enter it and walk along with it until you find the next map piece.
12. West of the Crater Cliff teleporter, the next map piece reveals itself on the roof of a bandit-occupied building.
13. From the Snow Village teleporter, head across the street and look for the next map piece in the second house from the right. You can find it on the second floor, on a small box opposite the bed.

14. This tin settlement is also guarded by bandits. The map piece is outside on a table.

15. In a small building of the chemical plant, the fifteenth card piece is on a table. Be prepared for resistance. This town is crawling with monsters.

16. The final map piece is in a gazebo on a table in southern Skylands. Again, you have to be quick if you don't want to take on extremely dangerous beasts.

Solve a well-kept secret

Once you have all the map pieces together, return to the Bastion and go to the lectern in Jax's home. Here you can use all map pieces, which opens up new coordinates for you. Activate the now unlocked mission A Well-Kept Secret and follow the mission marker. You come across a display in an abandoned building that asks for a password. Select "Infinite Skylands Inc." to open the vault next to it.
