Ghost Wire Tokyo KK's Notes - All 20 locations for 400 skill points

 By collecting KK's records in Ghostwire: Tokyo, you can quickly earn skill points that you can exchange for new skills. At this point, we show you the locations of all 20 records to earn you a total of 400 skill points.

Find KK's records

KK's journals are small notebooks that you can collect. Each recording rewards you with 20 skill points, which you can spend on new skills and upgrades. If you want to unlock all the mental powers and get one of the Ghostwire: Tokyo trophies and achievements with "Body and Mind", you have to find all 20 records.

You can find many of the recordings relatively early and some of them can be bought for Meika at Nekomata stands. Note that it is only from the beginning of Chapter 4 that you can clean the rest of the torii on the map, giving you access to the entire map and all buildings. From this point on, 19 of the 20 recordings are accessible. You can only get the last recording shortly before the end of the story in Chapter 5.

On the following map of Shibuya, we have marked all 20 locations from KK's records with numbers. Note that you can only find the last recording in Chapter 5 towards the end of the main story at Tokyo Tower. However, you can still fast travel back to the main Shibuya map afterward.

You can use the numbers below to find more information about each recording. They each have their own name in the Database menu. This way you can see which ones are still missing.

1. The kid in the sewers

• Shrine: Akisawa Shrine
• Location: In KK's hideout on top of a stack of boxes.

2. The dancing, headless students

• Shrine: Kuo Shrine
• Location: Left behind the shrine's large torii on a bench.

3. The Disappeared of Kirigaoka

• Shrine: Hirokawa Shrine
• Location: Inside the building in the southeast corner of the shrine grounds.

4. Disappeared by Marunouchi

• Shrine: Torii in the shopping district of Utagawa
• Location: Inside the Sengoku Center Building that you visit during the main mission. In hindsight, you can re-enter the building through the rooftop door and find the records a few floors down at Meja Securities.

5. The Awakened AI

• Shrine: Yamaki Shrine
• Location: In one of the mailboxes on the ground floor of the apartment building.

6. The line in front of the restaurant

• Shrine: Tatsui Shrine
• Location: At the small shrine on the site to the left of Tatsui Shrine.

7. The giant Teru-teru-bozu

• Shrine: Torii of Kappagaike
• Location: On a bench on the roof of the tall building.

8. The Aether Thief

• Shrine: Sakano Shrine
• Location: By the elevator door directly across from Shimokusa Shrine.

9. The loan shark king

• Shrine: Yashin Shrine
• Location: On the construction site.

10. The Turbo Student

• Shrine: -
• Location: Inside Shibuya Subway Station. On a seat in front of one of the video slots.

11. Excavation at Jukai Soba

• Shrine: Torii in the shopping district of Utagawa
• Location: To the left of the torii on the table in front of the cafe.

12. The Usurious Tickets

• Shrine: Noto Shrine
• Location: Right before the stairs leading to the Noto Shrine.

13. The turf war of the tengu

• Shrine: Onten Shrine
• Location: Inside one of the buildings on the shrine grounds.

14. The Mystery of the Invisible Cat

• Shrine: Kuo Shrine
• Location: You can buy it from Nekomata, who is in love with shine, for 100,000 Meika.

15. The Cult of the Fluttering Cloth

• Shrine: Matsumi Shrine
• Location: Can be bought from the Musical Nekomata for 100,000 Meika.

16. The customer catcher in the Sportallee

• Shrine: Torii in the shopping district of Utagawa
• Location: You can buy it from the Japan fan Nekomata for 100,000 Meika.

17. The Curious Case of the Tengu of Tokyo

• Shrine: Shiroyama Shrine
• Location: Can be bought from the Artisan Nekomata for 100,000 Meika.

18. The Nekomata and the mini market

• Shrine: Yamaki Shrine
• Location: You can buy it from Kecken Nekomata for 100,000 Meika.

19. The Kappa and the Cucumber

• Shrine: Onten Shrine
• Location: Can be bought from the Occult Nekomata for 100,000 Meika.

20. The Hyakki Yako

• Shrine: -
• Location: Can be found at Tokyo Tower at the beginning of Chapter 5. This area is outside of Shibuya. After the first boss fight in the chapter, do not go directly up the stairs to Tokyo Tower on the right, but instead, go left into the building to collect the recording inside.
