The Legends of Runeterra Tournament is a special modality where many users want to participate. However, not all players have the opportunity to enter this game mode, since it is nothing more and nothing less than a World Tournament where only the most experienced LoR players qualify.
To be able to enter you have to meet certain requirements and learn how the structure and mechanics of the game work. Requirements to qualify for the Legends of Runeterra Tournament
At the end of each legends of Runeterra season, the Tournaments are held, where a total of 1024 players worldwide qualify. There are two ways to enter, the first is to become one of the 700 best players on your server before the season ends, and with that, you would automatically enter the Tournament and you would receive all the instructions you must follow to start participating. The other way is to be one of the 324 to qualify by having 7 wins in a row at your first attempt at Gauntlet: Final Showdown, a mode that kicks in after the end-of-season qualifiers and closely resembles VS mode. How are the Legends of Runeterra Tournament played?
- Each player has to have 3 different decks with no duplicate champions.
- At least one of the decks must have a combination of regions that are not duplicated.
- You can only have a deck without any champions if the player so wishes.
- The card limit is 40 per deck.
- You can have a maximum of 2 regions per deck.
- Maximum 3 copies of a card.
- There is a limit of 6 champions per deck, it doesn't matter if they are 3 of the same.
- Players can lock an opponent's deck before starting the game.
- The same deck cannot be used if you have already won a game with it.
What are the Legends of Runeterra Tournament rewards?
- 1st: $10,000.
- 2nd: $3,500.
- 3rd and 4th: 800 dollars.
- 5th 400 dollars.
- 8th: 400 dollars.
- 9th: 150 dollars.
- 32nd: $150.
- More than 3 wins in Open Rounds: exclusive card back.
- All qualified players in the tournament: player icon.
