To craft the Expert's Tools in Lost Ark, you need an Expert's, Crafting Kit. We will show you where you can farm it.
Expert tools are the tier 4 tools, meaning the legendary ones. Initially, you get the green tier 1 tool, the rest you have to craft yourself in your stronghold.
In order to craft the Expert's Tools, you will need, among other things, one Expert's Crafting Set for each tool.
How do I get the sets? There are secret dungeons in Lost Ark that you must progress through in order to get an expert crafting kit. You can get the cards for this through the main quest, through chaos portals or you can craft them yourself in your fortress.
You will receive a chest as a reward. It can contain an Expert's crafting set or an Adept's crafting set. However, both are rare, which is why you will probably have to do more than one dungeon.
Alternatively, you can purchase the crafting kit from the Market for around 1,500 gold.
What else do I need? To craft the legendary tools, you first need the instructions. You can purchase these in your fortress from NPC Jeniff for 250 adventurer's seals per tool guide.
In your workshop, under the "Tools" tab, you now produce the tools. In addition to the Expert Crafting Set, you also need 28x Tool Making Parts, 30x Strong Iron Ore, 20x Rare Relics, and 32x Ancient Relics. The production costs 250 gold and takes almost six hours.
What good are better tools? With each rarity level, your tools have more bonuses. These include, for example, an increased chance of rare items, faster mining, and - which is very useful - the effect that you are no longer interrupted while crafting if enemies attack you.
So it's worth crafting the higher tier tools rather than sticking with the tier 1 green tools.
