Gran Turismo 7, the new opus of the famous car racing simulation is available since Friday, March 4 and within the game, you will be able to play multiplayer.
However, to take advantage of this feature, you will have to progress through the game and we will explain how to unlock multiplayer in Gran Turismo 7, but also how to play on split-screen.
How to unlock the multiplayer function in Gran Turismo 7?
To take advantage of the multiplayer function of Gran Turismo 7, you will have to progress in the game and more precisely have completed Book 9. To complete this book, you need to finish in the top 3 in at least two races that are included in this book. Once you have unlocked the multiplayer option, all you have to do is go to the world map and you will then find this menu at the bottom right of the screen represented by an icon with 3 players.
We remind you in passing that it is also possible to play multiplayer with your friends from home by taking advantage of the split-screen function. To do this, here is what you will need to do:
- Launch your console
- Click on your Profile picture
- Choose the Switch user option
- Now create a second account on your PS4 or PS5
- Launch Gran Turismo 7 now
- Finally, press the PlayStation button on the second controller and choose the second user account you created to play in split-screen
