How do I unlock the Scrap Collector class & skills?

Should you first start the original or prequel trilogy in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, you will always come across places where you need the Junk Collector class to get Kyberstones or other secrets.

To unlock the Scrap Collector class, including all three skills, as quickly as possible, you must play Episode 7: The Force Awakens. Like Episode 1 and Episode 4, this episode is available from the start.

After escaping the First Order with Poe and Finn, you'll take on the role of Rey, who falls under the Junk Picker class, on Jakku. During the mission, you have to search for scrap in a crashed Star Destroyer. During this section, you'll gradually learn all three Scrap Collector skills. Once you've completed the mission, you can select Rey at any time in Freeplay and use her Junk Picker skills.

All scrap collector skills at a glance

In the following, we will introduce you to all three scrap collector skills and what you need them for.

smash blaster

With the smash blaster, you can destroy walls with a blue glowing crack in the middle. Just shoot the walls multiple times until they shatter in an explosion.

glider

You need the glider to complete flight time trials and to glide over a chasm at certain points. You can also use the glider at any time to quickly come down from a mountain or building - this saves long walks.

net launcher

The net launcher allows you to throw nets at walls at certain points in the game , which you can then climb up. Caution: You can have a maximum of two networks active at the same time.
