 How to complete the main and side quests in the continuation of the cult series from Running With Scissors


Postal 4: No Regrets was a real surprise for fans, being announced and released on Steam Early Access on the same day. In our guide, you will find a complete walkthrough of this crazy game.


Monday

Find a job

We follow the road to two boxes and pick up the cardboard. We run forward after the dog and find a felt-tip pen on a concrete block. We take the cardboard in our hands and use the felt-tip pen on the "F" button. We go out onto the road and turn to several passers-by with an inscription in their hands. Some will drive the hero away, while others will advise you to contact the agency. The JA icon will appear on the map.

We go to the marker and get three tasks. You can do them in any order.


Prison Guard

Not far from the agency is a prison. We follow there and communicate with the senior guard. He will offer to inspect the blocks and find three passwords on personal computers. Right now you can only find 2 of them.

In the training room, we take a shotgun, a revolver, cartridges, and a bulletproof vest. We inspect several blocks, then climb the stairs to the central tower and enter the code "696" on the console. The main lattices to the blocks will be blocked, you will have to get to them using detours. Passwords are always different, so we use the phone, where the main character writes down the actual codes from this or that block.

If the code for the block is not suitable, we try to enter the remaining ones. Most likely one of them will fit.

We run to the neighboring area and find the animal catcher's garage. He asks to catch cats and dogs. Opposite the van, where you need to bring the pets, there is a tray with food. Select it with the G and H keys, then discard it with the X button.


The first step is to bring three dogs. We go outside and throw food along the path to lure the nearest dog. We do this with several mongrels and get the second task.

Now we need to catch cats. We can use cat bait or do without it. Cats are rare in this area, so you have to run around looking for these animals. When you find a cat, just get close to it so that the hero takes it into inventory. Return to the back of the van in the garage and use the X button to eject the pet.

Replace light bulbs. On the right side of the city, we find the entrance to the sewer. The caretaker asks you to complete three tasks for him. We run forward until we get out into a large hall. Turn left and find the first passage. You need to fix 8 light bulbs in several tunnels. We use wooden boxes for this. If necessary, they can also be used to climb stairs.

We inspect all the passages and pick up supplies, as rats will often attack along the way. If you get to a dead-end and don't find all the light bulbs, go back and look for other passages. In total, there are three different branches available in this area that you can go through.


Clean up the drain. Having done this, we return to the central hall and follow to the left. Here you need to clean several pipes from dirt. Any firearm can be used. We shoot at the accumulated dirt in the pipes and complete the task.

Drain the water pump. Again we return to the central hall and run into the last passage with the inscription Pumping Station. In the main hall, we see that two valves are missing from the pipes, as well as two missing engines. We leave through the only door and follow the improvised rafts on the water. We try not to go down into the water, as the hero will receive damage.

We get to the door with the inscription STORAGE 1 and find the first valve. We go up the stairs and along the metal beams under the ceiling we move to the second door with the inscription STORAGE 2. We pick up the engine here. We insert them into the desired slots and flush the water. By the same principle, we find the rest of the details.


As soon as we leave the sewers, we will get another optional task Volunteer Fireman. To end the day, head to the Call It a Day marker and go to bed.


Tuesday

Waking up, we get two quests. It is recommended that you complete the Pay Fine quest first, as the latter will send you to another part of the city.

Pay fine 

We get to the police station and talk to the duty cop. He will give the hero a special device with which you can issue fines for an unpaid parking space. You can determine this if you approach a parked car and look at the parking machine. The inscription EXPIRED means that the driver did not pay for parking. In this case, you need to go to the side glass, pick up the device and issue a fine.

Note that there are very few such cars and they are scattered in different parts of the city. To update the location of the cars, leave the area several times (you need to wait for the area to load and return back).


Meet Associate

To complete this task, we approach the marker on the map and use the bus stop. We select the destination and hold down the E key. After that, we watch the cut-scene, then we find ourselves in the southern part of the city and get a few more quests.

Border Smuggler

It is recommended that you complete this quest first, as it is located near the hero's location. We get to the marker and inspect the control panel of the catapult. It is necessary to transport several citizens over the wall using this device. During breaks, you will have to fight off law enforcement officers.

Enemies attack in waves. If there are too many, get rid of them all, then get back to work. Aim the green beam slightly above the red canvas, where people should land.


Before we leave this part of the city, we can complete the optional Scooter Challenge quest. To do this, you will have to drive a scooter through the streets of the city and get to the finish line in the allotted time.

Now all roads are closed, but you can move to another area using bus stops. Track them on a map.

We get to the marker and talk to the seller. We open the door to the left of the cash register and go down to the warehouse. We leave the box on the shelf at the end of the warehouse and go back. At this point, the hero will faint and turn into a cat. There will be three required quests.

We get to the sewer pipe, go inside, and watch the cut-scene. On the way back, you need to deal with several cats. To do this, we can use a normal attack or jump. For a powerful attack, you need to hold down the Ctrl key and release it.

We follow to the nearest store and go inside. Doors and windows will close, and an armed man will attack the hero. We can kill him or steal the milk and unlock the door.

Milk is on the shelf to the right of the cash register, and the knife switch is on the left. We pick up the milk, activate the switch, and exit the store.


Deal with the dog (Bully Dog)

In this quest, you need to deal with the bulldog. Attacking him directly is pointless, as he deals damage as soon as he gets close to the hero. To do this, we examine the wall of the store, along which you can climb to the roof. When the dog calms down and approaches his bowl, we go down and hit him from behind several times. Repeat these steps until he dies.

We get to the marker and find the billboard. At this moment, a man will contact the hero, who will offer to use a can of paint and practice drawing. We put any inscriptions on the billboard and go down. If the cutscene doesn't start, we continue to draw on the billboard. In the end, a girl in a car should appear, and armed residents will begin to hunt for you.

If this happens, we inspect the area and find four more similar billboards. Do the same with them and complete the quest. Head to the Call It a Day marker and use the bell at the entrance to end the day.


Wednesday

Kunny Island Opening Crasher

We get to the island and watch the cut-scene. If you do not skip the video, then we will understand that you need to turn off all power sources. They are located in different places: on roofs, walls and attractions. We recommend using the screenshots below.

We use any means to disable them. Note that when using firearms, armed passers-by will attack you. The safest way is to get close to them and turn them off.


Having done this, we approach the central gate, watch another video and fight the boss.


Mexican cleaner (Mexi-Cleaner)

A shovel will come in handy for this mission. We follow the marker and find a small settlement, on the streets of which "dirt" is scattered. It is recommended to stock up on ammo, and first aid kits and purchase a bulletproof vest, as the locals will not be happy that you are cleaning the streets without their consent.

We examine not only the main street but also the neighborhoods nearby. When all the dirt is removed, the task will end.

We go into the building, which is marked on the map and sit in the elevator. We install the first bidet on the toilet, then follow the only door here. There will be a fork further, but the road follows a circle, so it doesn’t matter where you start from.

Did you buy ammo? If not, then come back here later, as armed enemies will be waiting in all rooms. Exploring the locations, we find double doors on which toilet paper rolls are depicted. In total, you need to find five similar doors to open the passage to the central hall and fight the boss.

Sign the petition (Bidet Petitioner)

The tablet for collecting signatures will be available from the very beginning of the day, but it is recommended to start the quest last. The Mass Appeal Makeover icon will appear on the map. This is a clothing store where we can change the image of the main character. If you turn to passers-by in ordinary clothes, then no one will agree to sign the petition. We follow the store and choose the Sexy Outfit outfit. In this outfit, any passer-by will leave his signature on the tablet.

After the last signature has been collected, the CD label will appear. As usual, we get to the Call It a Day marker and end the day.


Thursday

After the cut-scene, we appear in an unfamiliar location. All weapons, money, and supplies are gone.

To complete this quest, you just need to get to the very bottom of the map along the road and take the ski lift. But we won't get our things back. To do this, we examine all the houses in the location and open the locked chests. Some chests will contain weapons, while others will contain supplies.

Fix Race 

We follow the marker and go to the Hot Zone stadium. On the right, we find the door to the locker room. Here we definitely leave weapons and supplies in the box, since we won’t be able to get on the track with them. Get on the scooter and win the race. After that, we are preparing to meet with armed enemies.

There will be two of them in the first room. We deal with them with the help of a kick (Q key). We select the machine gun and cartridges, then we follow forward along the corridors, locker rooms, and restrooms.

We can also use the bug to leave the building without killing. To do this, we run ahead and after the extreme checkpoint, we die. When we load the last save, the guards will ignore the main character. So we can run to the exit. To get out, you need to go to the double door and hold down the E key.

First room. We go into the building and get into virtual reality. We follow into room number 1 and solve a simple puzzle. First, activate the lever on the left, go forward along the bridge and use the adjacent lever. The passage to the store and the third lever will open.

Before that, we return to the first lever and interact with it. This lever is now on the side. Now we activate the third button and leave the room.


Second room. In this room, we will encounter a playable character that resembles a Pac-man. We wait until it passes, then we activate the first switch. We go around it and activate the lever in the center, then the lever on the left. A bypass will open. We follow it and get out of the room.

Third room. In order not to go through this room completely, we can cheat a little. When the first platform falls, do not jump off it, but fall down with it. Here we will see a passage at the end of which there is a lever. Press it and run forward.

We solve several riddles with switches and platforms and get to the location where the doors will begin to appear. You should not enter them, as this will lead to the death of the hero. We go around the first door. When the second one appears, we go back and look for another way.

We get to the cliff, where doors will also appear. We move to the other side and find the lever. We go back, find the platform and climb up. We do not pay attention to the fact that the platforms are red. We follow this way to the end of the path and complete the quest.

We go into the desired building and lay down weapons at the entrance. If this is not done, the grate will not open. In the toilet on the first floor, we find a baton and bait inside one of the guards. You can just hit him. We pick up weapons and deal with other enemies.

On the podium, we kill the candidate for the post of governor and run to the exit. Two dozen guards will be waiting in front of the building, so do not forget to take the weapon from the box.

We get to the casino and watch the cut-scene. First, you need to find a fire hose. We chat with three visitors and examine the empty storage on the first floor. At this point, the fire will start. We use the hose to put out the fire, then deal with the enemies. We repeat the steps until we get to the main storage.

Friday

Pacify Merc Superior

We enter the shopping center and inspect two blocked stairs, from which power cables stretch. We follow them, turn off the cables and return to the stairs. Repeat the steps on the second and third floors to get to the boss.

After defeating him, watch a long cut-scene. This will end the mission.


Treasure Hunter

In this quest, you have to find the treasure in the abandoned tunnels. We climb into the tunnel and find the elevator leading to the lower level. We watch the cut-scene and follow the mine forward, overcoming obstacles and dealing with enemies.

We get to the pyramid, and we go inside. When we pick up the artifact, new enemies will appear. We get out of the pyramid and turn right. There is a secret passage here. We dive under the water and swim to the two elephants. Around them we select ammunition and body armor, then we get out in the same way we came.

We find the dam and enter the building. To start the mission, we pick up the bike and insert it into the wall, from where water flows. Similar actions will have to be performed throughout the task, only instead of a bicycle, you will need to use paintings, balls, boxes, and phalluses.

At the bottom of the screen, we can observe the timer, but the countdown does not affect anything, so we ignore it. We will meet many enemies along the way, so it is recommended to stock up on weapons and ammunition first.

When we complete the quest and leave the building, ordinary passers-by will start attacking the main character. This is not a bug, but a feature of the game, so you have to defend yourself. In addition, we will not be able to use bus stops for fast travel - we will have to move on our own two feet or move on a scooter.

This is the easiest boss of all. We interact with the console in front of the gate and raise the camera up. We attack the enemy with any machine gun or pistol until he dies.

Sometimes the enemy will shoot from a hand grenade launcher. We can blow up rockets or shoot from behind cover. We used the columns on the right side of the mansion.

To eliminate the Mexican, you will have to return to the mansion in the south of the location. The doors and windows in the building are locked, so we follow to the left side of the estate and find the passage to the estate.

Along the way, armed enemies will meet, so it's better to buy ammunition first. We rise to the third floor and destroy the boss. We did it with hand grenades.

This boss is located in the manor in the west of the city. On the roads on the right and left are two guards, a few more are in the house. Kill them and eliminate the boss. If you die, you will start the passage from the last checkpoint. In this case, all previously eliminated enemies will be considered killed.

There will be no difficulties in the battle with this boss. It will be much more difficult to get to him since all the inhabitants will attack the main character. We get to the marker, go into the palace and take the elevator to the top floor. We attack the boss with any weapon and try to dodge shots from a hand grenade launcher. We can also blow up rockets while they are in the air. After defeating the boss, watch the final cut-scene. End of the game.
