The big chest in Burninghoof Plaza certainly won't have escaped your notice if you're playing Gearbox Software's new RPG, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. To open this chest, you need a "skeleton key". If you're new to Gearbox games and haven't touched Borderlands before, you might be wondering how you can get that infamous 'skeleton key' to open the chest.
Once you've obtained your first Skeleton Key in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, we strongly recommend that you wait until your character has reached max level (i.e. 40) before opening the chest in Firehoof Plaza. Indeed, the loot obtained depends on the level of your character. It would be a shame to waste a key and get a weapon that you will change 4 or 5 levels later. So wait until the last moment to get level 40 weapons and gear from the Skeleton Chest!
Where to find Skeleton Keys in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands:
Obtaining Skeleton Keys depends on the development studio of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. It is indeed necessary that the Gearbox Software teams share new Shift codes to allow players to obtain a certain number of skeleton keys in exchange. You will never find Skeleton Keys while exploring the world of Wonderlands.
To obtain skeleton keys, you must activate your "Shift" account in the game from the "social" menu when you pause and then enter a valid shift code in the dedicated field to obtain your first skeleton keys. Note that using a skeleton key on the big chest in the village does not guarantee that you will get good loot, the system of this chest is totally random. But it's still worth a try!
