Ni no Kuni Cross Worlds Turn off auto battle (Disable Auto Battle)

Disable Auto-Battle in Ni no Kuni Cross Worlds

Like many mobile games these days, Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds includes various convenience features. This also includes the automatic fight, which you unlock shortly after starting the game. With the Auto-Battle, your character automatically attacks enemies and also triggers special abilities independently. If you don't want this, you can turn off auto-combat by clicking the crossed swords icon at the bottom of the screen.

There are three Auto-Battle settings that you toggle through with repeated taps.

  • Manual (Off): You must trigger moves, attacks, and special abilities yourself.
  • Semi: Your character performs standard attacks independently. But you have to make movements and special abilities yourself.
  • Auto: Your character acts completely independently in the vicinity of opponents and automatically triggers movements, attacks, and special abilities.

Switch other automatic functions on and off

In addition to the Auto-Battle, there are many other comfort functions with which the game almost plays itself. If you click on active missions at the top left of the screen, your character will follow them completely automatically. You then run to quest givers and mission goals independently without further input and even carry them out automatically. Battles then also run automatically, even if Auto Battle is actually deactivated. So click again on active missions so that they no longer glitter in order to turn off this automatism if you want to play yourself.

Only dialogues cannot be skipped. You have to click away from each NPC dialog box individually to continue. You can skip cinematic cutscenes on the upper-right edge of the screen if you tap there.

You can find more settings for automatic functions in the game settings. To do this, click on the symbol with the three dashes in the top right corner, and on the next screen click on the gear symbol at the bottom of the screen. In the first menu item "Game" you will find the following useful setting options:

  • Distance for auto-battle: Here you can set an exact distance to opponents in meters at which the auto-battle should then be triggered.
  • Use healing ability automatically: Here you can set whether your character will automatically use a healing ability when there is a large percentage of remaining life energy.
  • Use LP potion automatically: Here you can set whether your character automatically uses an LP potion when there is a high percentage of remaining life energy.
  • Auto-progress for Express Contract and Combat: With this setting, Express Contract and Combat mission quests will be completed completely automatically after you accept them.
