To complete the Lost Runes quest and continue the storyline in Diablo Immortal, the player first needs to solve the lamp puzzle. In this guide, we will tell you in detail how to complete the task, find runes and cope with riddles.
Prior to the introduction of the Library of Zoltun Kulle, most of the story and combat missions focused on finding and destroying enemies. This time the user will have to find all nine lamps and solve the mirror puzzle.
How to light all nine lamps in the Lost Runes quest and get the first rune
During the Restoring Order quest, the hero will reach the statue and the Curator in Zoltun Kulle's library. From this moment, the quest "Lost Runes" will begin. To complete it, the player needs to find three runes and place them at the base of this monument.
The first artifact is located northwest of the Grand Vestibule Waypoint. When you try to restore the rune, a puzzle will start. In the process of lighting one lamp, four fireballs appear around it, which also activate or extinguish nearby lights depending on their current state. You can light all nine lamps and get the first rune in the following way:
- Left extreme.
- Upper extreme.
- Right extreme.
- Lower extreme.
- Central.
Pay attention to the screenshot above, where the correct sequence is indicated. After activating these lamps, the hero will receive a rune. Place it under the statue and proceed to search for the second artifact.
How to get the second rune
After solving the lamp puzzle and returning the rune to the player, the hero only needs to walk a few steps to discover the next item. Now you need to kill Grimaldi the Flaming Soul to get the second artifact. Insert it into the statue after the boss is destroyed.
How to solve the mirror puzzle in the Lost Runes quest and find the third rune
To get the last rune, follow the map to a strange mirror, which is located east of the Curator. Pass through it. The hero will be in a small room with many mirrors and one beam of light. When you try to take the rune, a message will appear about the need to solve the riddle. Follow the steps below to successfully complete the puzzle:
- Approach the mirror directly below the rune and click on it once. A beam of light must hit this mirror.
- Go to the glass located in the far left corner of the room and double click on it. Now the beam of light will be reflected from this surface as well.
- Go to the nearby mirror and push it to the left twice. Enemies will appear.
- Destroy all opponents and take the third rune.
To complete the Lost Runes quest, return to the statue next to the Curator and insert the last item into its base. From this point on, the player will be able to continue exploring the library of Zoltun Kulle and move on to other story missions.
