In The Cycle: Frontier, the player may come across locked doors and colorful keys that open them. In this guide, we will detail where they are and how to find all the keys to the houses in the game.
What are the keys and how to find them?
In the available locations, players can find keys of different colors. They are needed to unlock rooms that contain valuable loot. On the map, there are various buildings and rooms, access to which is opened using the corresponding key. Most often, due to the difficulty in finding opening items, all stocks inside such secret locations are almost always untouched. In the game, all keys are divided into four types:
- General (white).
- Unusual (green).
- Rare (blue).
- Epic (purple).
- Epic underground (pink).
Locked rooms contain armor, grenades, medicines, ammo, cannon modules, and weapons (ranging from normal to epic). After finding such an item, we recommend immediately placing it in the pouch (Safe Pockets), since the keys have almost no weight.
In this case, the hero can go on the next adventure even without equipment. It is enough to find the key and run to the correct door to open the secret rooms. The following sections show the exact location of the doors. To get the key from them, you need to get to this location and search all the jackets, boxes, and safes around the locked passage. As a hint, players can use the interactive map, which we described in a separate article.
Where to find keys and doors in Bright Sands
On the Bright Sands map, the developers have hidden eleven keys. All of them lie in locations next to locked doors.
Below are the details of their location:
- Mine Key (pink). The door is hidden underground in an abandoned mine (Abandoned Mine) in the very north of the map.
- Mine key (white). Another point is located a little south of the previous one. The item opens the second room of the mine.
- Weapon key (blue). The door is located to the west in the Jungle Camp. You need to find a large living container.
- The key is in the excavations (pink). The secret area is located further south between the Dig Site and the Parking Lot in the central northern part of the map.
- Key under the waterfall (pink). Another door is located in the underground location under the waterfall.
- Key to the high house (white). The secret room is located at the very top of the mountain between the East Caverns and the Woodcutter Camp.
- East Dungeon Key (pink). The passage is underground at the East Collection Point.
- Server access key (green). The door is located in the Comms Tower in the west of the map.
- Server storage key (blue). The locked room is located in the central part of the location in the Base Camp.
- Lookout Room Key (green). The passage is located in the vaccine laboratory in the central-eastern part of the map.
- The key is near the skeleton (blue). This point is located near the camp in the swamps (Swamp Camp) a little south of the huge bones.
Where to find keys and doors in Crescent Falls
Below are the details of their location:
- Lab Key (purple). The door is to the northeast in the Pinnacle Labs area.
- Janitor's key (white). Opens three doors at once in the Starport Admin area.
- Key to the boss's office (purple). The locked passage is located in the same central area as the previous room.
- Bar key (purple). The restricted area is located in the very center of the map in the Green's Prospect location.
- Garage key (blue). The secret room is located in the central part near the previous door in the eastern part of the Greens area.
- The key to the overseer's office (green). The closed room is located in the southeastern part of the map in the location "Production "Nutron Farms"" (Nutrition Forms Processing).
- House key (white). The door is located in the most southwestern part of the area. It is necessary to find a detached living container in the location "Slums" (Favela).
