MultiVersus: How to play with friends (local, coop, online) and create private rooms

How to invite your friends in MultiVersus

To play MultiVersus with your friends, you can choose between two different options that are very easy to carry out. To do this, from the main menu of the game keep in mind the following:

• You can click on the cross of the "+" that is to the right of your character.
• Pressing this button will open your friend's list for you to invite one to join your game.
• Alternatively, you can open the friend's management social menu (it's at the top right of the screen).
• When this social menu is displayed you will see your list of currently online friends, offline friends and more. You can also search for player names to send them friend requests.
• When you have played games, the other recent players with whom you have shared battles will also appear here.
• Use this menu to invite a friend to your game or to accept invitations from your friends to join their rooms.

How to create a local game

In case you want to play local games in MultiVersus, that is, games for up to 4 players on the same console or PC, what you have to do is follow these steps:

• From the main menu of the game click on "Play!".
• Once in the mode selection menu, go to the tab called "Custom".
• In this section choose the "Local game" box.
• Now on the next screen, you just have to connect the additional controls of the rest of the players and press any button to join the selection of fighters.
• Let each player choose a different fighter and let the fun begin.

• Remember that on this same screen you can adjust the game options from the button in the upper right corner.

Create an online room

If you want to play custom or private online games in MultiVersus with your friends, all you have to do is follow these steps:

• From the main menu of the game click on "Play!".
• Once in the mode selection menu, go to the tab called "Custom".
• In this section choose the "Create room online" box.
• Now on the next screen, you will be able to invite players to join teams from the cross "+" button.
• When the teams are equal, the game can begin.
• Remember that from the custom game room menu you can adjust parameters and rules for your private game with friends.
