Roman Hladík, the general manager of Hangar 13 confirmed during an interview that the studio is working on a new Mafia game.
Many gamers who are fans of the Mafia license are eagerly awaiting news of a new Mafia game. That wait is now coming to an end as Hangar 13's CEO revealed during an interview for the first game's 20th anniversary that the studio has begun work on a brand new Mafia project.
At the moment we do not yet know when precisely this Mafia 4 will be available, but it should not happen for a few years as explained by Roman Hladík.
The next Mafia game is in development
This Monday, August 29, two officials from Hangar 13, the studio behind the Mafia license, gave an interview on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the first Mafia game. During this interview, Roman Hladík, the General Manager of Hangar 13, talked about the upcoming Mafia game, and here is what he had to say on the subject:
I am happy to confirm that we have started working on a brand new Mafia project! Although it's a few years away and can't share anything more at this time, we're really excited to continue working on this beloved franchise and entertaining our players with new stories.
As you can read, the next Mafia game will not be released anytime soon and we will have to wait a while before we can see any content around Mafia 4.
