It has now been 6 years since the Sims 4 came out, and fans of the license are impatiently awaiting the next opus, the Sims 5.
Some players are wondering if the game has a release date and if your case, at the moment we don't have any information about it yet. However, we are going to give you a summary of all the rumors surrounding the next Maxis game.
The expected release date?
We lack valuable information for the release of the next Maxis game, for the time being, the publisher continues to produce content for The Sims 4, which therefore indicates that their next opus will not be released in the coming months. The Sims 5 is eagerly awaited by the community, but we don't have a date for the release of their game yet.
Rumors would indicate that the game would probably be released at the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2022 since Maxis releases each new opus at the same time as the release of the new consoles, the next gens having been released since last November, their next opus could therefore out within a year. We still hope to have a precise date for the release of the game in the year, Maxis will perhaps decide at E3 next June (if the show is not canceled).
