Xenoblade Chronicles 3: How to Unlock Accessory Slots

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 characters can be equipped with accessories to enhance their attributes and abilities. There is a limit on accessories, but the number of slots can be increased by following a simple process.

As in most role-playing games, the characters in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 can be equipped with accessories that boost attributes, improve natural abilities, and other basic or advanced abilities of your protagonists. What you should know is that you can equip more than one accessory, but not from the beginning.

How to unlock accessory slots?

To equip more accessories, all you have to do is level up your character (character level, not class level).

Be careful, because with "Accessories" we mean Arts, Gems, and Accessories. These three things work as accessories and each has specific slot requirements:

Arts Slots

These are the extra Arts that you can equip to Fusion in combat and combine skills:

  • Slot 1: Default.
  • Slot 2: Go up to level 20.
  • Slot 3: Go up to level 40.

Gem Slots

These are Gems that increase attributes or give special effects to your skills. They function as a classic accessory.

  • Slot 1: Default.
  • Slot 2: Go up to level 20.
  • Slot 3: Go up to level 40.

Addon Slots

Add - ons also offer skill upgrades, in much the same way as Gems. There are exclusive Addons for certain classes, and they also work in the same way as regular accessories:

  • Slot 1: Default.
  • Slot 2: Get to level 30.
  • Slot 3 – Get to level 50.

Remember that the additional slots are independent of each character, that is, you will not unlock the slots for all the characters, only for the one that meets the level requirement. Keep upgrading your warriors so you can offer them more items to boost their abilities and attributes.
