How to scan QR codes?

As we said at the beginning, the Splatoon 3 QR codes are not scanned from the game itself, but certain steps must be carried out in external applications. Here below we are going to summarize everything you need to be able to scan the QR codes without any problem:

• The first step is to download the Nintendo Switch Online application: you have to download it on your smartphone if you don't already have it. It is available for Android and iOS.
• Remember, you also need an active subscription: to the Nintendo Switch Online service if you want to scan the QR codes.
• Open the Nintendo app: Once you've downloaded it, sign in with your account and access SplatNet 3, the service dedicated to Splatoon 3.
• Once inside SplatNet 3: you have to click on the "QR Code Reader" button, which is located in the lower right corner of the screen.
• Accept the camera permissions: and now point your camera at the QR code you want to scan. If you prefer, you can also upload an image of the QR code if you have saved it in your gallery.
