Since the title is available on several platforms, some people wonder if it offers cross-play functionality and if this is your case, 2K has given the answer in a FAQ on the site dedicated to NBA 2K23.

Crossplay for NBA 2K23?

If you want to know if a cross-play or cross-platform feature, well, the answer is no as 2K Games disclosed in Frequently Asked Questions. You will therefore not be able to play with your friends if you are on PC and PS4 or between Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X.

Cross-progression for NBA 2K23?

As for the cross-progression of being able to continue your game on your PS4 if you're on PS5 or from your Xbox Series X to your Xbox One, well, the answer is yes of the month in part. Partly since this only concerns the transfer of your VC, but also your progress on the MyTeam mode. This feature is therefore not available for MyCareer or MyGM mode.
