Discord on PS5, is it possible to use the software on the PlayStation?

 Discord is finally available on Xbox, after long months of waiting! But what about the PS5? When will it be available on the PlayStation?

For a few years now, Discord has been the most used software in the video game world, to communicate with friends on different servers, in private messages, or in voice chat. Originally available only on PC, the software is beginning to roll out to other platforms, as seen recently with the arrival of Discord voice chat on Xbox.

If the software has arrived on Xbox, what about PlayStations, and more specifically the PS5? At the moment, it is not possible to use Discord on PS5, but it could be that by next year it will become possible!

Discord soon on PS5?

For the moment, Discord is not really available on PlayStation! It is only possible to link the software and the console to show your friends your current activity. But it is not possible to use Discord features on the PS4 or PS5.

However, according to some rumors , Discord could be coming to PS5 with console update 7.00 . This update should take some time to arrive, it could only see the light of day in 2023. If this rumor is correct, it will therefore be necessary to wait a while before being able to use Discord on the console!
