Disney Dreamlight Valley What a home feels like - making fish casserole & pickled herring Arendelle style - Game Guide

 In Elsa's quest "What Home Feels Like" you are to prepare a fish casserole and a pickled herring Arendelle-style. For this, you have to produce dandelion syrup and catch a glitter herring, among other things. You can read in our walkthrough how you can successfully complete Elsa's mission.

Start "What a home feels like".

Once Elsa has moved to your valley and you have reached level 3 friendship with her, you can receive this quest from the Ice Queen. Elsa is homesick and wants you to cook some Arendelle recipes for her. Specifically, she wants a fish casserole and pickled herring Arendelle-style.

First, however, you should make the dandelion syrup, as this refines the fish casserole in a special way.

Make dandelion syrup

For the dandelion syrup you need the following ingredients:

• 1x Lemon: Can be harvested from trees in the Forest of Valor and Glade of Faith.
• 5x Dandelions: Dandelions grow all over the main square. You may have to wait a few minutes for new flowers to respawn to find the number you need.
• 3x Garlic: Can be picked from the ground in the Forest of Valor.
• 2x Onions: You can buy onions or seeds for them from Goofy's stand in the Forest of Valor. You may have to expand the stand several times beforehand.
• 1x Empty Flask: Can be crafted at a workbench with 3x Glass. You can also produce 3x glass at the workbench with a total of 15x sand and 3x coal ore. You can find sand on the beach or by destroying the blue stones there. Follow Maui's quests to get the pickaxe upgrade you need.

Bring the gathered ingredients to Elsa. The next step is for you to catch a glitter herring for Elsa.

Find glitter herring

Elsa tells you that the Glitter Herring can only be caught on rainy days in the Glade of Trust. So you have to wait for better or worse until it rains in your game. Then head straight to the river in the middle of the clearing and fish from the orange bubbles in the river to catch the glitter herring.

In the following picture, we show you where we were able to fish the glitter herring. In your case, it might be somewhere else.

Prepare fish casserole

You now have all the ingredients for the special Arendelle-style fish casserole. So go to any hotplate and combine the following ingredients in the saucepan:

• Wheat: You can buy wheat or the seeds for it from Goofy's stand in the peaceful meadow. You may have to expand the stand several times beforehand.
• Butter: You can buy it in Remy's restaurant.
• Glitter Herring: This special ingredient will appear in the quest category when cooking. So don't mix it up and don't use regular herring!
• Dandelion Syrup: The syrup made earlier will also appear in the quest category when cooking.

Prepare pickled herring Arendelle style

You can use a normal herring for the Arendelle-style pickled herring. Otherwise, you mostly need the ingredients that you have already collected before. The ingredients are:

• herring
• lemon
• Onion
• garlic

Any spice (garlic, mint, oregano, basil, or ginger)

Find Elsa's chest & place a purple crest

After tasting the dishes, Elsa remembers a chest she buried near her ice cave. It is in the floor to the left of the entrance.

In the chest, you will find the extra pickled herring Arendelle-style and the purple crest. Then go into the ice cave and place the coat of arms on the wall at the end of the cave. Then talk to Elsa to complete her mission.
