Splatoon 3 Change appearance and character - Game Guide

 Style is very important in Splatsville, which is why you have many options to customize your character in Splatoon 3. After you start the game for the first time, you have to create your character directly. Afterward you always have the possibility to adjust the appearance or change the character. We'll show you how in this guide.

Customize appearance quickly

There are two ways to change your appearance in Splatoon 3. The first option is for quick adjustments.

• To do this, you have to press the plus button in Splatsville. On the bottom right of the screen, you can see that this button brings up the Customize menu.
• Next to the shoes, select the " Other " item.
• Use the shoulder L/R buttons to bring up the Appearance tab, where you can change the hairstyle, eyebrows, and legwear.

Open character editor

Unfortunately, you cannot make all settings in the menu described above. For example, you cannot change eye color, nor can you switch characters from Inkling to Octoling or vice versa. So if you want to change the race, you have to enter the editor from the beginning of the game.

• To do this, you have to press the X button in Splatsville, which brings up the Splatoon 3 menu.
• Then you have to use the shoulder button L/R to the " Options " tab.
• Under " Miscellaneous " you will find the last point " Appearance ".
• In the editor, you can create your character from scratch and change the hairstyle of your Salmini, who accompanies you in story mode.
