Gotham Knights: How to Protect Batman's Secret Identity

We clarify how one of the secondary activities of Gotham Knights works is related to protecting the secret identity of Batman by planting false evidence.

Gotham Knights: How to Protect Batman's Secret Identity

One of the optional activities that Gotham Knights features is related to Batman's endangered secret identity. The fallen hero runs the risk that the city will find out who he really is, and to avoid this we can place false evidence in different places.

In this entry of our guide, in case you have doubts and do not know how this secondary activity works, here we show you how to protect the secret identity of Batman and where are all the areas where you can place false evidence. If you manage to do in all of them, you will get the Solid Alibi trophy/achievement.

How to place missing evidence to protect Batman's secret identity?

As you progress through the Gotham Knights story and start Case 02: Down the Rabbit Hole, you will receive an email from Batman stating that his secret identity has begun to be compromised. From that moment you will unlock the first activity of this type, which consists of going to a location marked on the map (with a Batman icon) and planting false evidence to safeguard the identity of the hero.

Well, how are these activities carried out, and what must be done to plant the false evidence? It's actually quite easy to understand:

  • Upon reaching the target location: of a secret identity in danger, you will see an area monitored by cameras (and there may also be guards).
  • To place the false evidence: you must interact with an encrypted server that is in the area, but they cannot detect you at any time.
  • If you are detected: the activity will be unsuccessful and you will have to return another night to be able to try again (ie you will have to return to the Belfry and go out on patrol again).
  • Once you manage to introduce the false tests: the entire surveillance system will be turned off directly and the activity will be completed. You just have to go back to the Belfry to unlock the next one.

As you can see, there is not much mystery. The activity always consists of the same thing, but it becomes more complicated little by little since the successive ones you unlock have more surveillance cameras and more police officers around. For this reason, it is recommended to do this activity with Batgirl or Robin, who are characters more focused on the stealthy game.

Location of the secret identity in danger

The Batman Endangered Secret Identity activity can be unlocked one at a time, that is, in order to perform the next one, you must first complete the one available at that time.

In total there are up to 5 activities of this type that we can complete and below we show you their locations according to the order in which they are unlocked:
