Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord leaves early access today

The game has been in early access for 2.5 years. And in honor of the upcoming launch, the developers launched a stream on their Twitch channel.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is the long-awaited sequel to the acclaimed RPG and medieval warfare simulation Mount & Blade: Warband. The action of this game takes place 200 years before the beginning of the first part. Improvements have affected both the combat system and Calradia itself. Storm mountain strongholds with siege weapons, build secret criminal empires in the backyards of cities or seek glory in the chaos of fierce battles. The choice is yours!

Previously, the developers promised that by the release of the game they would add banners, make locations more unique, and also improve the AI movement system, which will help NPCs better overcome difficult terrain, as well as avoid creating traffic jams. The game will also feature voice-overs for story dialogue and AI character greetings.

The developers plan to keep working on the game after its release, and they have several improvements planned, such as capturing bandit-controlled areas instead of just clearing them, and much more. At the same time, they are open to suggestions from players.
