A multiplayer experience should see the light of day for Cyberpunk 2077. When can we expect to enjoy the experience? Here is the answer!
After some difficulties on its release, Cyberpunk 2077 has managed to conquer many players, and now has more than 20 million copies sold, according to CD Red Projekt.
However, players are still waiting for the multiplayer mode announced several months ago.
The sequel to the game is now officially launched in development, codenamed “Orion”.
When is multiplayer coming to Cyberpunk 2077?
Several years ago, CD Projekt Red reported that a multiplayer experience was planned for Cyberpunk 2077. Since then, no news has been released and one has to wonder what is actually planned on the multiplayer side of the title.

Regarding the DLCs, everything is going as planned since the Phantom Liberty expansion should arrive shortly on PC, Xbox Series X | S, and PlayStation 5.
At the multiplayer level, on the other hand, CD Projekt remains silent for the Cyberpunk 2077 title.
However, the firm has just revealed the continuation of the license, named for the moment " Project Orion". This official sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 will delve deep into the Cyberpunk universe and will be developed by the CD Projekt Red team. A multiplayer mode seems planned for this sequel.
CD Projekt adds that they will integrate multiplayer on most of their next games, in order to enrich the experience of the players.
To know if the multiplayer will arrive one day on Cyberpunk 2077, or if it will be necessary to wait for the continuation with the Orion Project, for the moment everything remains possible.
