Scorn is a new first-person horror adventure where you have to face a lot of secrets. In this guide, we will describe a detailed walkthrough of the game, as well as tell you how to solve all the riddles and puzzles.
Act 1-1. Where to go and how to find the elevator
You appear in front of a locked door. Follow the left and get to the room with two devices. Interact with the small pipe on the left so that the hero sticks his hand into it. You can now activate the door and solve a simple puzzle.
Move your eyes to the right side of the door and click "Use". So you get rid of the blockage and you can move the door using the right mechanism. It is worth noting that as soon as you disconnect from the device, the gate will begin to close. Try to run forward as fast as possible.
When you find yourself in a huge hall, follow the first passage on the right. There is an elevator here that will take you to the first puzzle.
How to solve the puzzle with cocoons (eggs)
The essence of this puzzle is to move the two luminous cocoons to the upper left corner of the "grid".
To begin with, it is worth interacting with a single luminous cocoon. Subsequently, it will fall apart, but if this is not done, you will not be able to move the desired egg to the upper left corner. Everything is simple here: move the double cocoon in the central row to the right, then move the desired egg.
With the second cocoon, it will be a little more difficult. The fact is that it is double and you can move it only along the free cells of the "grid". We'll have to get rid of all the eggs on the right side.
First, move the single cocoon on the right side of the "grid" to the right. Place another egg from the middle row here.
Move the double cocoon on the center row to the left, and then move two more double cocoons on the top row. Drop one of them down. So you can raise the desired egg higher and place it approximately in the center of the "grid".
You'll notice that there's a "pass" at the top that you can use to move single and double eggs from the left side of the "grid" to the right. Do it. But first, we recommend that the second single egg, remaining on the right side, be lowered down.
Now move the glowing egg to the right to move the single one down. Lower the double from the top row to the bottom.
Again we move the single one to the right side and put the glowing one in the center. Getting rid of another double cocoon.
The penultimate move is a single egg, then a double one.
Act 1-2. How to get a hand and open the gate
Activate the device in the center of the hall again and go back down. Run to the cart. There is a mechanism next to it. Use it to lower the cocoon with the creature onto the cart.
Do not rush to interact with her. First, go up the hill and switch paths correctly, as shown in the screenshot below.
Nothing is more difficult. We control the elevator to move the creature to a makeshift chair and kill it. Take your hand and return to the central hall.
Run to the locked door and stop at the first device. First, you need to find a pipe that will upgrade the received hand. To do this, turn left and inspect a small tunnel. There is a pipe here.
Return to the door. Leave your hand in the devices on the left, and interact with the mechanism on the right. Move on to the next location.
How to find weapons and activate three cocoons
After taking the elevator, look around the central part of the room. So you get a device that looks like a weapon. If desired, they can even attack.
It doesn't matter which one you start with. You need to insert the resulting tool into the hole, after which a cocoon will appear. Repeat the steps twice, then inspect the place where the cocoons were sent.
Interact with the central mechanism. Pick up three cocoons and insert them into the holes, after which several more devices will appear. When all three devices are active, a cut-scene will begin, and you will be taken to another location.
Act 2-1. How to improve the tool and open the door
The hero wakes up in the desert. Follow the light sand and get to the entrance to another strange building.
Run along the only path until you reach a fork. There will be a flower in the passage on the left, but you don't need to go here yet. Go back and look for a locked door, the same one you could see at the very beginning of the game.
First improvement
Opposite the door lies the body of a dead creature. Interact with him and get a new tool. To the right of the corpse, there is a hole where you can insert it and upgrade it. In total, you will have to find four such improvements.
The upgrade mechanic is pretty simple. Move the outer drive to connect the three inner drives together.
Return to the flower and insert the resulting device into the mechanism. The passage on the left will be unlocked and you can take the elevator up.
Second improvement
Get to a place where you can create passages. There are currently only two paths available to you. Select the passage on the left.
Here you will find the second upgrade. Only now the inner rings are moving. Focus on hearing. If the device makes a characteristic sound when the ring stops, you can connect it here. In the screenshots below, we have indicated the correct sequence.
Nearby you can find a mechanism for clearing the third fork. But right now you don't have a wristband to activate it. Climb down and unlock the second passage.
Third improvement
You will immediately find yourself next to a huge fan. It's pointless to go through it. Instead, turn right and find the only passage. It will lead to three tubes that are responsible for the rotation of the blades.
As soon as you turn off the fan, a strange creature will attack the hero. It, like a parasite, clings to the body of the protagonist. Along with this, you will again receive an improvised weapon.
Climb down and go through the giant blades. On the left, there will be a passage leading to the third improvement. As usual, screenshots with the correct sequence are below.
Fourth improvement
Turn the camera to the right. Here you will see an elevator. Go down to the lower level and interact with the pipe, which will allow you to activate some mechanisms.
Remember the place where you found the second upgrade? Come back here and activate the device to clear the third passage.
Having done this, create a tunnel and get to the fourth improvement. Unlike previous puzzles, the left half of this device will be covered.
Act 2-2. How to solve the puzzle and get the key to the door
Go down to the lower level and get to the flower. Use your improved key again and solve a small puzzle. You need to distribute the four glowing dots as shown in the screenshot below.
Take the key and use it to open the door. Follow forward and take the elevator until the next act begins.
