Probably many of you are already playing, although you may have had doubts to choose between its different graphic modes and you are still wondering what is the best option to fully enjoy what this adventure offers. To help you, we bring you this little article where we explain everything you need to know about them so that you can make a more informed decision and find your ideal graphic configuration.
Graphics modes on PS5
If you're playing on Sony's next-generation console, in the "Graphics and camera" section of the options menu you'll find two graphics modes to choose from, with the following characteristics:
- Favor quality: Native 4K resolution (2160p) with a rate of 30 images per second.
- Prioritize performance: Dynamic 4K resolution (ranges between 1440p and 2160p, keeping very high numbers most of the time) with a rate of 60 images per second.
PS5 high frame rate mode
- Favor quality with high frame rate mode: Dynamic 4K resolution (between 1800p and 2160p) with a target frame rate of 40 frames per second.
- Prioritize performance with high frame rate mode: Fixed resolution of 1440p with a rate of 60 images per second unlocked, which usually reaches figures around 80 fps.
Graphics modes on PS4 and PS4 Pro
- Favor Quality: Dynamic resolution ranging from 1440p to 1656p with a target rate of 30 images per second.
- Prioritize Performance: Dynamic resolution ranging from 1080p to 1656p with a frame rate of 30 frames per second unlocked, typically hovering around 50fps.
