Sonic Frontiers: How to solve the mystery in the graveyard (Solution)

This is what you need to do to be able to beat the mystery puzzle in the graveyard during the Sonic Frontiers story. The main puzzle of Kronos Island.

The "Mystery in the cemetery" is one of the main puzzles that we find in the history of Sonic Frontiers as part of the mysteries that we must solve to advance in the adventure. In this case, it is the first serious puzzle that you will have to overcome if you want to reach the final boss Giganto, on the first island, Kronos Island.

As it will surely give you a headache to reach the final solution to this mystery, we have prepared this specific entry in our guide in which we show you step by step what you must do to be able to solve the puzzle as easily as possible.

Solution of the mystery puzzle in the cemetery

Helping Amy during the Kronos Island storyline in Sonic Frontiers, there will come a time when you will have to visit a graveyard made up of a bunch of tombstones. Then this peculiar mission will begin in which your goal is to move the black tombstones so that they point their energy beams in the right direction.

Note before you start that there are only four black tombstones that can be rotated, but some of them are connected (so rotating one will inevitably also move the direction of another). In addition, the patterns on the graveyard floor will give you a clue as to the correct path for the energy beams bouncing between the tombstones.

The complete path that the rays of the tombstones must draw is the one you can see in the image above.

Correct order to rotate the tombstones

Probably this puzzle will choke you a lot because of how convoluted its solution is when you turn the tombstones. But don't worry, to make it easy for you, here below we show you all the steps you must follow to reach the final solution without any problem (and attaching screenshots of each of the movements to be carried out).

Simply, when starting the puzzle, replicate these movements as we teach you here:

• First move the black tombstone on the left: and rotate it to bring the lightning bolt to the tombstone immediately above it.

• Now turn the black tombstone on the right: so that it points its beam at the tombstone on the left, causing the beams to bounce.

• Then turn the top black tombstone: to connect your lightning bolt with the tombstone to your southwest; in this way, the rays will bounce on this path.

• Now select the bottom black tombstone: and rotate it to connect its lightning bolt with the tombstone to its southwest; a path will be formed and the one with the black tombstone on the left will be undone.

• Turn the black tombstone on the left again: to reconnect the rays of its path (as you did at the beginning of the puzzle).

• Finally, turn the black tombstone on the right: to connect the rays on this side and the entire route will be completed (everything will finally be aligned).

As you can see, by doing all these steps you will reach the final solution of the mystery and all the tombstones will be in their correct position, bouncing the rays perfectly to the statue in the center of the cemetery. Done, puzzle solved. Phew! You can continue playing now.
