Scattered around the world of God of War: Ragnarok are special scrolls - treasure maps that can tell you where to look for valuables. Hidden treasures contain resources and rare items such as weapon accessories or amulet enchantments. In this guide, we will explain how to find each of the 10 treasures in the game. Please note that you cannot dig a treasure without a map, so first of all, you need to find a scroll.
Vulture's Gold
Map location: Alfheim, Quarries (The Canyons).
The scroll can be found right at the entrance to the Quarries. This location will become available after escaping from the Temple of Light with Tyr as part of the Secret of Groa story mission. You will return to Strand's mystical gate, and after the cut scene, a new path will be unlocked. The treasure map will lie right on the road.
Treasure Location: Alfheim, The Barrens.
After leaving the Quarries, you will pass into the location of the Plains. You need to get to the skeleton of a huge monster in the eastern part of the area. Torches are burning near the remains, so they are easy to spot even during a sandstorm. Treasure can be dug up in the jaws of a skeleton.
Reward: Postmortem Explosion accessory and resources.
Forgotten Tower
Map location: Alfheim, The Forbidden Sands.
The card is located on one of the shelves near the legendary chest, on the second floor of the elven sanctuary. The desired building is located in the northeast of the Forgotten Sands. You will gain access to this area after completing The Reckoning quest.
Treasure Location: Alfheim, The Forbidden Sands.
The right place is located north of the Burrow area and west of the elven sanctuary. To find it, you need to climb a rock, break through the wall and climb even higher. The treasure will lie on the right.
Reward: Virtue of Alfheim amulet enchantment and resources.
Under the Rainbow
Map location: Vanaheim, Noatun's Garden.
You will enter Noatun's Garden after the main quest The Reckoning. A fight with several enemies will be waiting for you on the shore, and after the fight, go to the left. The map is located in the far left corner from the coast, near the building with the legendary chest.
Treasure Location: Vanaheim, Goddess Falls.
To search for this treasure, you need to climb a rock in the southern part of the Delta. Climb up the vaults of the waterfall to the platform. To the right, near the edge of the cliff, the treasure will be hidden.
Reward: Niflheim Virtue Amulet Enchantment and Resources.
The Giant's Toes
Map location: Vanaheim, Vanir Shrine.
Before you get to this location, you must complete the mission "Payback". As part of the Freya's Worry side quest, swim down the river to the location of the Ruins on the rock, which is located next to the Mystic Gate. Climb up the vine to the Goddess Falls. After defeating the Soul Eater, return to the Sanctuary of the Vanir. The desired scroll will lie to the right of the entrance, near the corpse.
Treasure Location: Vanaheim, River Delta.
The treasure is located behind the Mystic Gate of the River Delta, next to Brock's workshop.
Reward: Amulet enchantment "Might of Vanaheim" and resources.
Viking's Gift
Map location: Midgard, Raider Fort.
You can find this scroll during the quest "The Word of Fate" - it is located in the center of the Raider Fort. In The Lake of Nine area, notice the plume of smoke on the left. Go around the blocks of ice on the right side and climb up the ledge. Once in the Fort, deal with the opponents and pick up the map on the ground behind the camp.
Location of treasures: Midgard, Lake of Nine.
The treasure is in front of the large doors, behind the Raider Hideout in the far east passage.
Reward: Enchant the amulet "Justice of Midgard" and resources
Fruits of Industry
Location of the map: Svartalfheim, Alberich Hollow.
After completing the Forging Destiny quest, head to the end of the main path in Alberich Hollow. Go past the chain with the lift to the right to the wooden platform. There you will find a new scroll.
Treasure Location: Svartalfheim, Modvitnir's Rig.
With the treasure map, go to the Modvitnir drilling rig. Upon arrival, head to the stone ledges. The treasure is on the first ledge in the right corner.
Reward: Vitality of Svartalfheim amulet enchantment and resources.
Washed Ashore
Map location: Svartalfheim, Alberich Island.
Get to the island of Alberich and climb the rock next to the water mill. Break the stone with a spear, jump over to the wooden platform, and from it to the opposite bank. Next, climb onto the island and pick up the scroll.
Treasure Location: Svartalfheim, Dragon Beach.
Return to the beach and head to its extreme right side. Treasures will be buried next to the paw of a huge skeleton.
Reward: Virtue of Jotunheim Amulet Enchantment and Resources.
Mining Glory
Location of the map: Svartalfheim, Nidavellir.
After the quest Forging Fate, return to Nidavellir. Turn southeast from the Mystic Gate and go through the pub. Then, after crossing the bridge, turn left and continue walking until the very top. Climbing up, find a place for a spear and use it to climb onto the ledge - a map will be waiting for you there.
Treasure Location: Svartalfheim, The Applecore.
Return to the main entrance to the Core. Go down into the cave through the room with the mini-boss and the legendary chest. Behind it you will find a hook in the ceiling - use it. Then immediately jump down to the right side of the location. Continue following the tracks in a downward spiral. The scroll will lie by the river at the end of the trail.
Reward: Muspelheim's Blessing Amulet Enchantment and Resources.
Scar Is Born
Map location: Vanaheim, The Plains.
This scroll can be obtained after the quests Creatures of Prophecy and Favor Return of the River. After filling The Crater with water, return to the Plains location. Turn south from the gate and swim towards the Yggdrasil Rift and the Vortex entrance. In this area, there is a small island on which the scroll lies.
Treasure Location: Vanaheim, The Plains.
Once at the location, turn east, standing near the Mystic Gate, and move until you meet a stone arch in the shape of a circle on the way. Go inside and take the treasure hidden there.
Reward: Asgardian Justice Amulet Enchantment and Resources.
Demise of Dagestr
Map Location: Svartalfheim, The Applecore.
Take the ferry from Aurvang Marshes back to the Core. Get down on the lift and keep moving down until you see a place for a spear on the right side. Climb up, there will be a map near the dead gnome.
Location of treasures: Midgard, Lake of Nine (The Lake of Nine).
The last treasure is located north of the Raider Fort. Go around the building opposite the Mystic Gate of the Lake on the right. Move along the path to the wall of ice, from which a glow breaks through. Punch the road with weapons and climb the ledge, on which there will be a treasured treasure.
