An insider shared the first details about Judas - a new game from the creator of Bioshock

A lot of new games were revealed during The Game Awards 2022, and to the surprise of many, Judas, the new game by Ken Levine and his studio Ghost Story Games, was also presenting. Levin, as we recall, is best known for the BioShock series, but since 2013 he has remained silent. Now we can learn some additional details about Judas thanks to insider Oops Leaks.

Some information about Judas. The codename of the game is Replay, it has a strong focus on replayability, it is not as ambitious as the author's previous works, but the game has several completely branching story stories that also have branchings within themselves. It will not be possible to cover the entire story in one playthrough. The game is full of biblical references, but you can already understand it from the title.

Judas, if you haven't guessed, is obviously a reference to Judas, the apostle who betrayed Jesus. The official description of the game says that we will be able to "break covenants", so it is possible that the name is also related to this: we will be able to betray our allies.

Judas is in development for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Currently, there are no details about the release date, but according to the developers, "coming soon". The game will be a story-driven shooter set in a disintegrating spaceship.

It certainly feels like Judas is taking over BioShock and taking it into a new context and structure. Obviously, rumors are just rumors and not official information, so we can't take what is being reported to be true.
