Location of each chest with skins, upgrades, and secret perks
There are two types of chests that can be found in Evil West. The smaller ones hold the money. There are usually 3-5 of them per level. There are fewer legendary or unique chests. They also store money and some unique thing - a skill point, a weapon or clothing skin, a new feature, or even a weapon upgrade. In this guide, we will tell you how to find all the unique chests and what is contained inside each of them.

Raid
Unique Chest 1/1 ($77, Ghost Scarf Skin/Skin): Kill the first bandits first. You can kick the door to the building ahead, or climb through the open window into the hut on the right. First, knock out the door and enter the building. Pick up the money on the right and open the big chest. Inside is money and a new skin, "Phantom Handkerchief".

Devil's Pass
- 1/2 Unique Chest & 1/8 Hidden Feature ($88 and Explosive Success perk): Destroy the first werewolves (nagals) you encounter later in the same chapter. Turn left, knock one of the corpses off the tree and find a chain on the right leading down. After going down, open the chest. In fact, it is very difficult to miss it, since it is the main story path.
- Unique Chest 2/2 ($199, Ghost Rifle skin/skin): Once you leave the cave and see an unknown creature moving underground, go to the right side and drop down into the gorge. At the very end, there will be a chest.
IR Far Outpost
- Unique Chest 1/2 and Hidden Feature 2/8 ($133 and Deadly Heights perk): Continue along the main story path until you encounter another enemy group. After clearing the tunnel, make your way through the hole and destroy another unit. After that, climb over the fence and open the chest.
- Unique Chest 2/2 ($95, Ghost Suit Skin/Skin): Next to the previous collectible is a dynamite that can be detonated. Then crouch _ under the opening _ to get to the chest.
Averting eyes
- Unique Chest 1/2 ($103, Ghost Hat Skin/Skin): Once you've dealt with the enemies inside the mine, go to the right side of the fork. Shoot the TNT on the right hand and make your way to the unique chest.
- Unique chest 2/2 and hidden feature 3/8 ($188, Explosive Elements perk): after jumping down at the end of the chapter and killing the kamikaze, go left and turn left even more. Burn the bushes with the flamethrower to find a unique chest with a new feature.
Medicine
- Unique Chest 1/1 and Hidden Feature 4/8 ($101 and Adrenaline Addiction perk): During the chapter, you will go down and find a large underground temple. You need to move the blocks so as to go to the other side. At the bottom, there are three large and two small blocks. Move one small block all the way to the right, first removing the large one from the path and moving the large one past it. The second small block must be moved to the far left corner, pulling out a large one from there. Place two large blocks on the way to the temple. Place the third large block to the left of the far one so that you can get to a unique chest that stores money and a feature.
Oil with the taste of blood
- Unique Chest 1/3 ($128, Ghost Cutoff Skin/Skin): At the very beginning of the area. After talking to the worker, go downstairs, keep moving forward and detonate the dynamite to reveal the descent. Jump down there and look to the right side, where the chest is located.
- Unique chest 2/3 (1 skill point, $156): At some point, you will need to destroy two counterweights on the dam. When you deal with the second, move to a new location and finish off the werewolves. Knock out the door to the building on the right hand, burn the cobwebs with a flamethrower and inspect another chest.
- 3/3 Unique Chest and Weapon Upgrade ($102, Explosive Bolt Weapon Upgrade): Leave the building and keep heading to the left until you find a bush to burn. It is behind the tower on the left-hand side. There you will find a chest.

- Unique chest 1/1 and hidden feature 5/8 ($119 and perk): after the stable, you need to eliminate a large cluster of enemies. Then you must shoot three switches to open the door. Opposite the entrance, there is a chain that can be knocked down. Climb up the chain and search the chest.
protector of the people
- Unique Chest 1/2 and Hidden Feature 6/8 ($212 and Life Balance Perk): Climb the chain inside one of the houses to get to the attic of the house and find a unique chest.
- Unique Chest 2/2 ($214, Ghost Revolver Skin/Skin): After you blow up the nest inside the cave, exit through another opening. In addition to the collectible item (note), there is another chest here.
Lightning in a bottle
- Unique Chest 1/2 ($252, Ghost Glove Skin/Skin): Sooner or later, you'll have to activate two electrical panels using the generator near the house. This is how you free the workers. Near the far lever, which can be reached along the lower path, shoot at the target and climb up the chain. There is a chest here.
- Unique Chest 2/2 (1 Skill Point, $208): A little later, you will reach the third electrical tower. In the same area where you fought the enemies, make your way under the log and search the chest.
old friends
- 1/1 Unique Chest and 7/8 Hidden Feature ($154 and Life Support perk): At the location of the broken bridge, move to the right, drop down and find a passage to the right. Go there, turn left and blow up the wall with a bunch of dynamite. In the water mine, in the left corner, look for a new chest.
filial duty
- Unique Chest 1/2 ($148, Ghost Flapper Skin/Skin): Inside the station where you fight enemies, there is a cobweb along the left wall with a collectible note hidden behind it. Move on between the wooden crates and search for a new chest.
- Unique chest 2/2 and hidden feature 8/8 ($122 and perk): go to the far tower, climb the chain and open the chest.
Robbery
- 1/2 Unique Chest and Weapon Upgrade ($175 and Instant Shot Weapon Upgrade): Jump off the ledge to reach the chest. See screenshot.
- Unique Chest 2/2 ($177): Open the door opposite the quest marker.
