How to Improve Relationships with Superheroes in Marvel's Midnight Suns

All ways to increase friendship in the game

Marvel's Midnight Suns isn't all about intense tactical combat. An equally important aspect is your relationship with the rest of the characters. In addition to developing and expanding the narrative, establishing close ties unlocks significant combat options. As the level of friendship between the Hunter (HG) and superheroes increases, you will unlock passive skills and combo abilities. If you want to dominate the battlefield, follow our recommendations and develop friendships in the Abbey (home base).

Increasing the level of friendship with the rest of the superheroes in Marvel's Midnight Suns will provide many benefits that will help during the missions, including:

As your level of friendship with the characters grows, so will the overall level of friendship (team indicator), the rewards for which are mainly focused on the accelerated development of relations with specific heroes. Team Friendship Level-Up Rewards:

  • Increasing the number of combo abilities
  • Souvenir shop
  • compliments
You can develop friendships with other heroes in a variety of ways, including by chatting with them, inviting you to parties, giving compliments, helping with quests, and so on.

Encounters with heroes

After completing the mission, you can invite the hero to participate in a joint event. However, you have to be careful what occupation you choose, because each hero has their own preferences. Some prefer fishing, while others want to stay at home and play cards. Depending on how interested the Sims are in your chosen occupation, the level of friendship with them may either increase or decrease.

At the end of the meeting, you can give the hero a gift, which can either be bought at the gift shop or found in the Abbey. Again, be careful when choosing a gift for the character, because the characters have their own preferences in this regard. And they say "don't look a gift horse in the mouth."

Choice of dialogue options

Talking to other heroes is the most common way to increase friendship levels. You will be given three dialogue options to choose from, each of which will result in a different reaction. You need to use what you know as a Marvel fan, or the information you've learned from this story, and then figure out which phrase will strengthen or weaken your bond with the hero.

There is a lot of dialogue in Marvel's Midnight Suns. You will connect with the heroes at the Abbey, during parties, at club meetings, and even on the superhero social network Superlink. Often invitations to a meeting will come from the heroes themselves. It can be club meetings where several heroes with similar interests gather after a hard day, or after the next mission, or it can be a dialogue with a specific character. Heroes will from time to time ask you for help with a quest or give you advice, which, depending on your choice, can lead to an increase in the level of friendship.

compliments

Completing a research project, completing a hero mission, or reaching a new level of training in the yard will allow you to compliment another character. Complimenting a hero is the fastest way to increase your friendship, but if you compliment too many of the same character in a short amount of time, it will backfire.

Sparring in the yard

In the yard, you can improve the cards and train in battle against superheroes. An easy way to earn friendship points daily is to spar with one of your favorite heroes. If friendship with a particular character has almost reached the next level, "finish off" the remaining points by practicing with him in the yard.

asylum

Inviting the hero to the hideout, a special attraction on the Abbey grounds is very similar to the dialogue but has a few differences. Shelters are limited; each can only be used once, and each hero can only be encountered once in hideouts. The biggest difference is that any reward for increasing friendship points in the hideout is doubled. To maximize your friendship, use what you know about the characters by offering them the right task and giving them a gift they're sure to love.
