Marvel Snap: How to change your avatar image and get new ones

 We show you the steps you must follow to be able to change the image of your avatar in your Marvel Snap account and how you can unlock new avatars to show off in your games.

Players at Marvel Snap can slightly customize our profile or account by adding an avatar image of our favorite comic book hero or villain. However, if you are a newcomer, you might be wondering how you can change your avatar image to another or how to get new avatars.

How to change your avatar image?

To change your avatar image in Marvel Snap, the first thing you have to do is pass the short tutorial at the beginning of the game and, after that, increase your recruit season pass by one level. If you don't do this, then you still won't be able to modify your profile avatar.

• The Recruit Season Pass is available from the start of the game and can be increased by playing matches and completing Daily Quests and Season Quests.
• By getting XP from the pass, you will increase their levels little by little.
• At the first level of the pass, you can claim a set of 8 generic avatars for your profile.

When you claim this reward from the first level of the recruit pass you will unlock the ability to edit your avatar image, which before then is not possible (basically because you don't have avatars to switch between them yet).

Once you have the aforementioned set of avatars, you can choose your favorite avatar whenever you want. To do this, access the main menu of the game and click on the image of your avatar that appears at the top of the screen, in the center. This will open the "Customize avatar" section, where you can choose the avatar you like best from the ones you already have unlocked. Easy, right?

How to get new avatars?

You may be wondering how you can unlock new avatar images for your profile on Marvel Snap. There are many avatars available and they can be obtained through the following ways :

• Upgrade your season pass to unlock more avatars (in the recruit pass you can still get Ant-Man, Colossus, Ironheart, Gamora, and Blue Wonder).
• Increase your rank in seasons to get rewards (in some levels there may be new avatars).
• Purchase the Welcome Pack from the store (this unlocks the Captain America avatar).
• Buy exclusive packs in the store, such as the Wild Hearts pack (this unlocks the Gambit and Rogue avatars).
