Neil Druckmann Confirms The Last of Us Part 1 Will Support Steam Deck

One of the best PlayStation games is coming to Steam Deck next year. Earlier this week, The Last of Us Part 1 was confirmed to be coming to PC on March 3, 2023. It was unknown if it would work on Steam Deck, but Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann confirmed that the game would indeed support Steam Deck.

This isn't much of a surprise given that virtually every other PlayStation port has supported Steam Deck so far. However, this will be an interesting test of the Steam Deck's capabilities, since this remake was developed for PS5, which means it will be more graphically rich than the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game. She's already looking pretty good-looking, so she'll probably push the Steam Deck to its limits.

Only time will tell how well this works, but it will provide the game with a new audience beyond PlayStation and regular PC players. With the upcoming TV show airing just before its release on PC, The Last of Us will be more relevant than ever in 2023.
