Rumor has it that new Intel graphics cards will be released in 2023 and will be on par with the RTX 4070

AMD and NVIDIA recently launched the next-generation RX 7000 and RTX 40 graphics cards, and soon Intel will follow. Their Battlemage series of accelerators will reportedly be released as early as 2023, and the best of the cards will be able to compete with the RTX 4070.

It is not yet clear whether this will be a full-fledged contender, but it is unlikely that the card will be able to show miracles of performance. Indeed, earlier Raja Koduri stated that Intel will focus primarily on energy efficiency, and not on the raw performance of video cards.

Note that earlier it was said that the first generation Arc graphics cards will compete with the RTX 3060 or RTX 3070. In general, they turned out to be about the level of 3060Ti. Thus, the new generation may indeed be comparable to the RTX 4070. At the same time, the new card is credited with a 225 W TDP.
