The Callisto Protocol is a third-person horror game set in a sci-fi setting. The protagonist of the story, by coincidence, finds himself in a prison colony on the frozen moon of Jupiter - Callisto. In this guide, you can find a detailed walkthrough of the game.
Prologue
Check Special Cargo
After the opening cutscene, head to the ship's cargo hold and wait for the door to open. You can also inspect other unlocked doors. Pick up an audio recording in one of the cabins.
Enter the central door that leads to the cargo hold and go down the stairs. Climb over the crates and enter another door. Immediately behind it, the main character will examine the medical cargo.
Follow the corridor and turn right. Interact with a large box that has the inscription "52" on it so that the main character gets over it.
Enter the only door here and tell your partner about the destruction. The task will be updated.
Get back in the cab
You don't have to go back the same way you came. Keep going forward. You will see several armed men. Crawl between the boxes and get to the stairs. As soon as the sprint prompt appears on the screen, hold down the indicated key and run into the cockpit.
During the cut scene, the ship will depressurize, and you will need to crawl to the helm. Note that some of the grates on the floor are broken. After reaching the helm, watch the cut scene that ends the prologue.
Chapter 1. Epidemic. How to get to the control room
Examine the camera and interact with the purple cube. The hero will wake up in a few days. Approach the grate and open it.
Follow the bridge and get to the stairs. Go downstairs, and talk to one of the prisoners. He will give you a sharpened wrench. Climb over the barrier and use it on the electrical panel to the left of the grate.
The passage will open slightly, and you can go through. Cross the bridge and use the key on the electrical panel again. After the door opens, you will meet with the first enemies. Press the indicated keys on the screen to fight off the prisoners.
When you deal with them, a monster will attack the hero. There will be no more QTE scenes - you will have to kill him on your own.
How to open Elias' cell and find the elevator
Interact with the control panel and return through the bridge back to the locked grate. Here a prisoner will be waiting for you. He will say that you need to find an elevator.
The previously blocked passage will be opened. Follow forward and kill another monster. At the same moment, you will see a hint that the hero can finish off lying enemies and pick up useful items from them.
There is an elevator at the end of the passage on the right. Interact with the blue console.
This will take you down a level. Get to the two corpses at the dead end and climb into the small hole.
Another enemy will appear here. You can kill him or run past him. You need to get to the door and interact with several consoles. When you activate the second device, the prisoner will contact you again.
How to get through the isolation
Run forward and try to open the dead-end door. You can examine several cameras to find credits. Sometimes they will be in orange crates with blue accents.
Open the massive door and watch a short video. This compartment also has several cameras that can be examined. When Elias contacts you again, destroy some eggs next to the generator.
At the end of the bridge on the left lies the corpse of a guard. Trample it and get rid of the parasite that jumps out of the body. Climb up the stairs and turn right. Here is a box with credits and an injector.
The indicator on the protagonist's neck displays the character's current health. Use injectors to restore the hero's vitality.
Interact with the console at the far end of the corridor and take the elevator up. Walk forward and watch the cut scene with the robot and two prisoners. At this point, the task will be updated.
How to sneak past security and find the fuse
Turn right and examine the wall on the left. Here you will see a ventilation shaft - climb inside. Wait for the robot to leave and get out of the mine. Walk behind him and approach the door. In the next corridor, use the wrench on the electrical panel.
Follow forward and wait for the guard to leave. In the end, you must get to the operating room. There will also be a box with supplies, but you should not open it. If you do this, the protagonist will be attacked by a parasite.
An audio recording can be found on the far right side of the room.
Go back and look for the fuse. It is in a glowing device on the wall. Insert it into another similar device next to the locked door.
This will take you to a corridor engulfed in flames. Here you have to get rid of several monsters. In the room with the hologram, examine the crates. Climb into the ventilation shaft.
In a room with fans, the hero will be attacked by two infected. If you get rid of one, the second will run away. Examine the wall on the left and find a hole. Watch the cut scene, after which the protagonist will have a stun baton. The task will be updated.
How to return to the watchtower
Interact with the control panel. At the same moment, a monster will attack you. Exit through the door and go downstairs. This will take you to the prison cells. At the first chamber on the left, you can pick up the injector on the wall. Prepare to fight multiple enemies.
Run on the only path. In one of the cells, you can find an audio recording. Climb the stairs up and interact with the console. This will take you to a room with screens. Find the electrical panel and hack it to open the door.
At this moment, a cut scene will start with the guard who arrested the main character. The task will be updated.
How to find a way out
Follow to the only open door, go down, and inspect the two bars. As you get closer, the left grate will open. Run to another door. The chapter will be completed.
Chapter 2. Consequences. How to find Elias
Walk forward and examine the hologram. At this point, the task will be updated. You need to find Ellias in the security center.
Go down the stairs and go past the robot. It is not dangerous, but immediately outside the door, the infected will attack the hero.
In the next room, squeeze between two shelves and watch the cut scene with Elias.
The guy will move the shelves and you can get into the next room. Before following the man, you can inspect the lockers in the same room.
Elias will give you a pistol part. Use a special device to print additional parts for weapons.
Proceed into the corridor and watch the scene with the infected. When the airlock opens, kill the monster with the pistol.
You can now pick up ammo for firearms while inspecting corpses.
How to find a medical unit
Go down the elevator and kill a few more infected. One of the mutants will attack the hero with slime. Avoid such attacks in time. Examine the chambers for ammo and health, then go back and look for the ventilation shaft.
Behind the broken robot, you will see two monsters. Kill them and go to the locked door. The task will be updated. Return to the robot and inspect the dismembered corpse of the guard.
You will gain access to the locked door where Elias contacted you.
How to find a glove
You will see several monsters in the cages - don't waste ammo on them. Walk a little further to meet the infected. Here you will notice two hermetic doors.
Enter the door on the left, go down and find another door. Walk down the corridor, interact with the airtight door and inspect the corpse of a medical worker on the floor. This will give you an audio recording.
Here, open the supply crate. Keep following forward. In one of the rooms, the hero will find the severed guard's hand and get a new tool - a glove. With it, you can lift various objects and enemies into the air.
Enter the operating room and examine the hologram. After a moment, two monsters will appear, and the game will offer to take a tutorial on how to use the glove. You can pull enemies towards you or, conversely, repel them.
How to find a fuse
Near the door where the infected came from, there is a device with a blown fuse. You should take it out and go back a little. Nearby there is a similar door with the same device, where you can find a working fuse.
When you return to the first door, a strong monster will attack the hero again. Be sure to dodge his attacks as he can kill you with a few hits.
Insert a working fuse into the device and open the door.
How to find an emergency exit
In the next room, there is an apparatus for improving weapons. If you have enough credits, you can upgrade your pistol, baton, or glove.
Here, inspect the lockers for useful items. It is worth warning that a parasite is hiding in one of them. Find ammo, injector, and battery.
Leave this room and return to the corridor. Open the pressure door at the dead end to get into the room with the corpses. The task will be updated.
How to find an elevator
Examine the corpse on the floor to get an audio recording. At the far end of the room, you will find open doors that lead to an elevator shaft. Go downstairs and watch a short-cut scene.
As soon as you get out of the elevator, the protagonist will be attacked by a giant parasite. Press the keys indicated on the screen to get rid of it. Don't forget to trample his cocoon.
How to get out of the basement
Kill another Infected that has spawned and climb onto the platform marked "Caution".
Another parasite in a cocoon will be waiting here. Jump down at the wall marked "D4" and kill another monster.
You may notice a parasite next to the fan. If you don't want him to grab onto the hero, shoot him a few times. In the far part of the room, a monster will also attack you. Not far from the place where he appears, lies the corpse of an officer. Examine it and take the audio recording. There is a supply crate next to the fan.
Climb onto the platform with the inscription "Caution", and kill a few more enemies. Drop down to compartment "D3".
On the floor next to the locked grate, pick up the fuse and insert it into the device next to the door. The task will be updated.
How to find Elias
Before you follow the story, you can go back and insert the fuse in the door, which is located in the first room of the basement. When you're ready, go ahead and get on the elevator.
After a short conversation, Elias will offer to restore power. Go down the stairs and wait until your friend opens the passage to the elevator. To the left of it, by the way, there is a device for improving weapons.
How to restore power
Get on the platform and get your pistol ready. When the gate in the opposite part opens, shoot at the infected. The more enemies you kill, the easier it will be to fight in close combat.
Get rid of the monsters and look around the room. A battery can be found on the floor near the locked door. Another one lies nearby.
Take the two fuses and the injector next to the locked door. Go back and look to the right. There are several crates here that you can use to climb up to the platform above.
Examine the corpse and take the audio recording. Insert the fuses obtained earlier into the devices and restore power.
Monsters will start appearing from below. Use your glove to grab them and throw them into the spinning mechanism. This will save you time and ammo. When the mechanism stops, the invasion of the infected will also stop.
Approach the door where you picked up two fuses and get ready to kill another creature. Climb the stairs and interact with the control panel. The task will be updated.
Go down the stairs and get into the elevator. Several infected will be waiting below. Deal with them and free the prisoner. Watch the cut scene.
When the camera closes, you can pick up an audio recording on the table. When the opportunity arises, use the wrench on the electrical panel to get out.
The hero will get out of the chamber and crawl through the ventilation shaft. The task will be updated.
How to get through the security center
Kill the only enemy and make your way between the pipes. Along the way, you will encounter giant parasites. Don't forget to destroy their cocoons. Get to the stairs and use the glove on the grate of the ventilation shaft.
In the next room, deal with the infected, after which a security robot will appear. Hide from him and make your way forward. A little later, the game will offer to attack the robot with a gun. You can ignore this advice and go stealth. Find the ventilation shaft so that the task is updated.
How to get out of the station
In the next room, you will come across a huge saw. Hide in small openings, and also lift and hold enemies in the air. This will allow you to quickly deal with the monsters when the saw passes by you.
Climb into the ventilation behind the saw and watch the cut scene. Examine the room and search the boxes. Here you will find a lot of useful items and ammunition. Interact with the console to open the hatch and head down the stairs. This will end the chapter.
Chapter 3
Follow forward and go down into the large hall. On the left, on the wall, you can pick up an injector. There is also a machine for improving weapons. Get down even lower and inspect the hologram.
The guy will say that you need to follow the red pipe. The task will be updated.
Raise the camera up and look around. You will see a blue container under a red pipe. Grab it and move it to the central tank. Pick up an energy converter here.
Grab it again and drag it to the platform opposite. Climb up and inspect the supply crate.
Go back. At the place where the container stood, you will see a ventilation shaft. Get into it.
You will find yourself in a compartment with waste, and several monsters will attack the hero. Get rid of them and find the valve. When you interact with it, a hole will open.
Follow all the time forward until you again stumble upon the prisoner's hologram. The message will say that you need to get through the locked door. Go back a little. There is a monster in the passage. You can climb onto the blue container and inspect the supply crate. A little further there is a hole.
You will find yourself in another room. Immediately pick up the first fuse on the crate on the right. It glows blue.
When you try to approach the device in the back of the hall, a new monster will attack the hero. Fire a few shots, after which he will hide in the ventilation.
Continue looking around the room and look for the second fuse. Here you can also examine the lockers for useful items and ammunition. Insert fuses into two devices, then start them.
To the left of the door, you can use the knife on the corpse and get an audio recording.
Run through the opened door. In the aisle, you can use a glove on the ventilation grill. There is a supply crate in a small room to the right of the vending machine.
Go back and go down to the water. Examine the room with cocoons. Destroy them and find the valve. Interact with him and climb into the ventilation shaft. This will take you to a room with a weapon upgrade device.
Here, turn another valve. At this point, a parasite will attack the hero. Get rid of him and follow the flooded corridor. On the left, you will see an open grate.
There is a cabinet with an injector on the wall. Pick it up and move to the stairs. At the top level, several infected will be waiting for you. Here you will have to find a fuse.
Run after the lamps and find a vertical ladder. Remove the fuse from the device and insert it next to the door on the lower level. When you return back with a fuse, several monsters will attack the hero.
Before you leave this room, inspect it and find a supply crate.
On the right, you will see a large door that leads to the control panel. On the left, there is a closed passage. Use the key on the electrical panel to open it. There will be some monsters here, but you can find a supply crate and handgun ammo.
How to find the security code
Return to the control panel and listen to the hologram, after which the task will be updated. There are two more doors in this room. First, enter the first door on the left (when viewed from the remote control).
Here you will get acquainted with a new type of monsters. If the infected have tentacles on their bodies, they must be destroyed as soon as possible. Otherwise, the enemy will start to mutate. You can also grab them with a gauntlet and knock them down to slow down the mutation process.
Interact with the corpse of the guard and listen to the resulting audio recording. So you will receive the security code, and the task will be updated.
Storage tank
Return to the control panel, where several mutants will be waiting for the hero. Get rid of them and empty tank "6". Get ready to fight against several strong enemies.
Remember the monster that hid in the vent earlier? Now you need to defeat several of these mutants at once. Try to keep your distance and shoot with a pistol. Also, don't forget to use a glove.
Interact with the console in front of the tank to extend the bridge. You can also go back and replenish your ammo or pick up injectors if you have left them in the room with the weapon upgrade device.
Go down the stairs to the mine and watch the cut scene, after which you have to dodge obstacles in the water. It is worth warning that with each blow, the health of your hero will rapidly decrease.
At the end of the scene, a mutant will attack you. Press the key indicated on the screen, and beat him off. Climb up the chain.
Look around the hall. Here you can find ammo and some injectors. Leave the room through the only door. In the corridor, several enemies will attack the hero.
Get to the fork. At the dead end, find the blue container. Move it to any place to open access to the hole. Get out of the ventilation and inspect the boxes on the left. At the end of the corridor, there is a hole where you can jump.
Two lockers and a manhole can also be found in the cave. Find a vertical ladder in the next room and go upstairs. The parasite will immediately attack the hero. Examine the supply crate and get out.
You will find yourself at the same fork where the blue container is. Follow the first door on the left. Go down the stairs and interact with the lever on the door.
Activate the bridge and get ready to hide from the security robot. Follow him to the right, then turn to the door on the left. See the hologram with the guards here.
How to find the security code
There are two doors in this room. First, you need to proceed to the door behind the reception desk (door on the left). At the end of the corridor, you will find a supply crate, as well as a blueprint for a new weapon. Before doing this, make sure you have free space in your inventory.
Go back and follow the opposite door. It is worth noting that on the way back the hero will be attacked by two mutants.
Go through the door and follow the corridors, fighting off enemies along the way. In the room with cisterns and smoke, inspect two lockers, then dispose of the fuse next to the locked door. Nearby you will see a working fuse in the device behind the glass. Break the glass with the club.
When you take the fuse, the smoke will disperse and parasites will appear. Destroy their hives, insert the fuse into the device next to the door and open it.
Climb onto the blue container, then climb into the ventilation. So you will find the corpse of the guard and you can pick up the audio recording, as well as find out the code.
Leave the building and follow the sign "SERVICE" to the left. There will no longer be a guard robot, but mutants will appear instead. Enter the next building and run forward along the corridors, killing monsters in parallel. There is an audio recording at the end of the corridor.
Go back to the entrance and climb behind the open hatch.
How to destroy the monsters and get to Elias
Walk across the bridge to the rotating mechanism. At this moment, about ten ghouls will attack the hero. Use the gauntlet to pick up the infected and throw them into the mechanism.
When you deal with them, follow the passage on the right and watch the cut-scene, after which the chapter will be completed.
