Final Fantasy 16 PC, will the game have a Windows version?

Final Fantasy XVI will be a Sony and PlayStation exclusive when it is released. If its release on PS5 has been announced, what about a release on the PC?

Final Fantasy 16 PC, will the game have a Windows version?

Final Fantasy 16 is the next action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix. It is the sixteenth game of the famous Final Fantasy license and is scheduled for release on the PlayStation 5 in 2023. New Final Fantasy 7 games were also announced a few weeks later!

Since the Game Awards 2022 ceremony and the coronation of Elden Ring, the GOTY 2022, we have had the right to several video game announcements with the announcement of Death Stranding 2, but also a new trailer for Final Fantasy XVI. The game will of course be released on the next-gen console PlayStation 5, but what about a PC port?

Will Final Fantasy XVI be released on PC and Windows?

If you're a big fan of the Final Fantasy license, but you don't own a PlayStation 5, you're probably wondering if it will be possible to play FF16 PC. The game was designed for the PlayStation 5 and will be released exclusively on this console. There is no PC release for the Final Fantasy 16 game release day. However, all is not lost. The last Final Fantasy had the right to their port on PC.

The game is a PS5 exclusive for 6 months after its release this year. For now, the development team is mainly focusing on the PS5 version to deliver the best game possible. On the other hand, once the 6 months have passed, we can consider a PC release and certainly even on Xbox. The question of the Game Pass also arises. But given the release date, it wouldn't be before the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024.

Finally, you can now pre-order the game Final Fantasy XVI. The Collector's Edition will soon be available for pre-order. Do not miss the day of the sale if you want to get one. Otherwise, see you on June 22, 2023, to experience this new Square Enix experience, with a Final Fantasy that promises to be darker than its predecessors.
