Metal Gear Solid, a Remake could soon see the light of day on PS5?

A user called The Snitch has posted some new information regarding a potential Metal Gear Solid remake announcement on PlayStation 5.


The Snitch known to be a user sharing a lot of confidential information being sensible in retirement. But recently, he posted on his discord server sending a mysterious message.


PlayStation may announce 3rd Party content very soon featuring an announcement of a Metal Gear Solid Remake during a Sony State of Play.


A Metal Gear Solid remake on the way to PlayStation, but when? 

According to the Insider Gaming site, The Snitch, a regular user of leaks, received a private message on Twitter from a source revealing to him that PlayStation was going to announce “ 3rd Party ” content very soon.


The " 3rd Party " means video game developers who have no direct connection or exclusive contract with the consoles. We can take for example Ubisoft EA or Activision.


A Metal Gear Solid remake on the way to PlayStation, but when?

The Snitch during an interview with Insider Gaming announced that he was retiring. Finally, a month later, he is already back with valuable information that informs us that PlayStation should soon achieve the State of Play. 


The last one took place in September 2021, in addition to this information, it is known that Xbox is planning a Developer Direct: the new conference which would be scheduled for January 25. It would therefore make sense for PlayStation to position itself shortly after the Xbox conference in order to compete.


For the moment, no official information from Sony. But according to fans, the content that could be announced during this State of Play could very well be a Remake of the Metal Gear Solid game or even a Spider-Man game.
