The Tsunamods community has released a mod that adds a full English dub to the PC version of the original Final Fantasy VII. Available from the fan group website, Echo-S 7 adds voice acting to individual scenes and characters, and new lines of dialogue to full motion video (FMV) sequences and battles. The mod's goal is to "help scenes feel like you're watching a movie," the creators say. "We brought together actors from all over the world to voice everything in Final Fantasy 7. Every main [character], minor, and NPC [non-player character] —any character is voiced. Even in the tutorials!"
